Chapter 4 -Lizard-

My eyes fluttered open, I smiled. I placed my hand on Derek's. I left it there for a while before slipping out of Derek's arms. I had put my sheet on and was walking around sorting out my school bag in my bra."I like your bra"Derek said with a smirk. "I know isn't it sexy"I said while looking down at it. Derek spun me around so I was facing him."Well hello hansom"I smiled. Derek rolled his eyes before kissing me.I smiled as he pulled away placing his forehead on mine."Have a good day"He whispered. "Just counting down the minutes til I see you"I joked. "I will be by latter to grab my other bag"I added. Derek let go of me and I bit my lip. "What?"Derek asked.

I sat outside the counselor's room waiting for Lydia to come out since Stiles and Scott are boring me and Lydia looks like she could use a friend.Lydia didn't end up leaving until ages later. I sat in the boys locker room while they got ready for their game tonight. "Hi, I am Matt, we have English together"Matt said while sitting next to me."Hi"I replied before I met Derek in the pool room like he asked.I hate this room. Erica came in a few minutes later and she was dragging Stiles by his ear. I growled lowly at her.Derek had a basket ball in his hands. "Stiles"Derek greeted. Um has a lot of teeth and oh, its got a tail.,too.Are we good?What?Wait have you seen it?"Stiles asked unaware it was behind him."You have this look on your face like you know exactly what I am talking about"Stiles added. Stiles turned around and the think stretchered. Stiles got behind Derek and I.Derek roared at the lizard as it knocked me and Erica in to the wall. Erica went first so she broke my fall.Erica was knocked out. "Run"Derek told Stiles before being cut on the neck."Derek, your neck"Stiles said as Derek turned back to the creature.Derek nearly fell but Stiles caught him."Call Scott"Derek ordered."Okay Mr.Lizard, you can hurt that bitch"I pointed at Erica while standing in front of the Lizard."But touch Derek, and you die"I growled before shifting in to my full wolf.The creature ran after Derek and Stiles. I ran, jumped over the lizard and faced it. I snapped my teeth at it before hissed. I looked at Stiles as he winded, "Reinforcements". Stiles' eye was full of fear. I look at Derek who had an unreadable expression.The thing hissed again. I jumped on it holding it down with my paws.I howled letting Derek know it was me. Stiles tried to call Scott but dropped his phone,As Stiles bent down to get it Derek fell in to a near by pool.I too busy making sure Stiles got Derek that I hadn't noticed the thing had wrapped it's tail round mine. The lizard pull me off it before scratching me.I fell to the floor as the toxin only to a few seconds to take effect."Do you see it?"Stiles asked. "No" Derek replied before looking at me. I shifted back. which means I am now naked and can not move. Yea. "Maybe it took off"Stiles said before the thing screeched."Can you get me out of here before I drowned?"Derek asked Stiles.They started arguing but I was a little distracted since that lizard thing is back and right next to me. The lizard had what looked like an evil grin on his face, but that could be because he is evil anyway.The lizard moved away from me and walked around the outside of the pool. It lend down and touched the water. The thing pulled his hand out sharply before hissing at the water while moving back."What did you see that I don't think it can swim"Stiles said.

"I don't think I can do this for much longer"Stiles remarked as the lizard pasted around the pool."Nnnnoooo, Don't even think about it"Derek shouted."Can you just trust me this once"Stiles responded. "No"Derek answered."If you haven't realized I am the one keeping you alive"Stiles stated."Yeah but when the paralysis wears off, who is going to be able to fight that thing, me or you?"Derek asked. "Oh so that's why I have been holding you up for the past two hours"Stiles replied bluntly. "You don't trust me and I don't trust you,But you need me too survive.Which is why you are not letting me go"Derek responded. "Stiles!"Derek shouted as he throw Derek of his shoulders. Stiles grabbed his phone before the lizard could touch him. The thing hissed at Stiles as he swam away. "Scott"Stiles shouted as he answered the phone. I heard a splash before there was gasps for air. The lizard screeched.I focused on my hearing and heard one more heart beat. It was beating fast like the person had been running. Great. Scott ran in and throw Stiles and Derek out of the pool before roaring at the creature. The thing hissed and tackled Scott. I dug my claws in to my leg. I heard glass shattering. I began to move a little.I dug my claws in to my thigh deeper as I could move more. I heard more glass shattering. I shifted back in to my wolf before Stiles and Scott left me and Derek.Derek looked at me and I moved my head down while looking at the floor. We heard groaning.We both looked over to Erica as she sat up and held her head.

"How are we suppose to figure out what this thing is"Scott moaned."Its called a Kanima"Derek said while Erica, him and I walked over to Scott and Stiles.I walked round the car,Still in my wolf form and sat down next to Stiles."You knew the whole time"Stiles questioned but it sounded more like a statement."No only when it was confused by its own reflection"Derek answered. "It doesn't know what it is"Scott piped in. "Or who"Derek added. "What else do you know?"Stiles asked."Just story's,rumors"Derek responded."But its like us"Scott asked. "A shape shiftier, yes but it's-it's not right.It's like a..."Derek struggled to find the right word."Abomination"Commented. Derek nodded before going to walk away.
"Derek"Scott said before Derek turned to him."We have to work together on this, maybe even tell the Argent's"Scott suggested. Here we go."You trust them?"Derek asked with anger laced in his voice."No one trust anyone, that's the problem.While we'er standing here arguing about who's on what side, there is something scarier, stronger and faster.Then any of us and its killing people;And we still don't know anything about it"Scott replied."I know one thing, when I find it, I am going to kill it"Derek responded while him and Erica walked away. I moved my face over to Stiles hand.I brushed my fur over it before looking up at him. I jogged of to go catch up with Derek."You are not getting in the car like that"Derek said as I sat down next to his car.I looked up at him before shifting back. "I wasn't going to anyway but I was going to say night to you before I went home"I responded while standing up."You can't walk home like that"Derek answered while looking in my eyes. "I am not. I am walking throw the woods in my wolf form"I replied."What if a hunter sees you and shoots you?"Derek asked."I play dead and when they get closer I snap my teeth at them, push them to the ground and walk off"I answered."Night"I waved before going to walk off. Derek grabbed my hand. "When was you going to tell me?"Derek asked. "Hopefully I would never off had too,But I could let someone touch my human and my Derek"I teased. "Get in the car"Derek added before I rolled my eyes and got in the passenger side.

Derek dropped me off at my house. I had a shower before going to bed.
