Chapter 9 -Lydia's birthday-

"What's that?"I heard Isaac ask as I entered the subway."Its a triskele"Boyd answered simply. "Spirals mean different things"I added as everyone looked at me while stood beside Boyd. I never actually saw a triskele, well I have but I didn't think it would look like that."Past, present,future.Mother,child,Father."Boyd continued."Do you know what it means to me?"Derek asked, still bending down next to the chest. "Alpha, beta, Omega"Boyd replied."That's right it's a spiral, it reminds us that we can rise to one or fall to another"Derek said while standing up. "Beta can rise to an alpha but an alpha can fall to a beta or even an omega"Derek stated."What like Scott?"Isaac asked."Scott's with you"I stated while walking closer to Isaac. "Really, where is he now?"Isaac asked. "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry he's not going to have it easy to night either. none of us will"Derek informed.My phone buzz, So I stopped listing to Derek and checked it. 'Are you coming to my party?-L'. "Good thing I had my period last week"Erica said. "That was good"I stated with a chuckle. Every one looked at me as I stood on my phone. I looked up and the boy's was giving me a ' are you serious' look and Erica was glaring. I rolled my eyes before going back to my phone. 'I will come over when it's done, I am not really a party person-M' I sent back."Hey Marie, are you going to have a hard job to night?"Erica asked. "Nope, I didn't create a pack so I wouldn't have to teach them, I am free to do what I want everyday."I stated. "Then you can help me tonight"Derek said as I received a new message. 'just for five minutes-L'. "Can't I have a party to get to"I answered. Derek looked at me. "I can stay and help for now the party doesn't start until later"I added. "I am going to need you help until the sun is up"Derek stated. "I will be at the party for five minutes then I will be back"I answered while grabbing some chain's.

"For Lydia"Allison said as I approached her. "Hey"I said as we walked up to the house together. "I thought you were helping Derek tonight"Allison said. "I am but Lydia asked me to come for five minutes"I responded."Here have some punch"Lydia said while handing it to me. "I don't drink"I stated. "Don't be silly, try it"Lydia said. "I will, later"I walked with Lydia around her house. We stopped by the pool. On the other side was Scott, Stiles and Allison. "She has completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years"Scott stated. "I prefer to think of it as me not being on her raydar"Stile replied. "Yep, we don't-". "Why is hardly anyone here?"Lydia asked while holding a smile."Its early, I will be back in a minute"I said before alpha walking over to Allison, Scott and Stiles. I did my alpha walk slow though as to not give it away to Lydia. "I guess I could use my co captain status to get the lacrosse team here"Scott said. "You guess? You will. If this doesn't turn in to a party you will all die, because Lydia will freak"I stated.Ten minutes later there was a party going. I was walking around with the glass of punch still in my hand but I wont drink it there is no point, I don't get drunk. I stood next to the pool when my phone started to ring. "Hello"I answered as I heard growling and snarling in the background. "Your five minutes are up, come and help me"Derek yelled before hanging up. I will forgive him because he is stressed,but he does that again, he will pay. I ran back to Derek's.

I ran in and saw Isaac. He isn't chained up, which means he is hungry. He growled and snarled at me. I roared at him. He lunged forward.I pinned him to the ground. "Find your anchor"I growled. He escaped my grip. I could hear Erica and Boyd. Isaac and I looked at each other before running in to the subway. Isaac grabbed Boyd and I went to help Derek with Erica even if Boyd would most likely get out of Isaac's grip.Derek knocked Erica out. "Okay, I guess you don't need me to help"I said. "Wow she looks ugly"I stated while looking at her.

"Think your'll be okay now?"Derek asked as he chained Isaac back up."Look's like you found an anchor"I added. "My Father"Isaac stated."Your Father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you"Derek commented."He didn't always"Isaac then responded.Derek and I went out side the subway.Derek turned his head to the side. I followed his gaze and there stood Lydia. She then blow a purple powder at us."Lydia"I whispered as we fell to the ground.
