Chapter 12 -I hate school-

I can't focus. I don't understand why he would go out on his own. I just can't get my head around it. It was my turn to go with him but I needed a to be honest I had given up hope, but why would he go. All summer Derek, Peter, Isaac and I have been going in twos and searching for Boyd and Erica.
"Marie"Derek whispered.
"Yeah"I responded softly while be knocked at of my trounce.
"We'll find him"Derek reassured.
"Are you sure letting her go home with her head like that, is the best idea?"Peter asked as he entered Derek's new loft complex. When he said 'head like that' he motioned his finger in lots of small circles in the air. "I am fine"I whispered.
"No your not..."Peter was cut of when Derek came to the same conclusion as him.
"You blame yourself for all of them don't you"Derek commented.
"I need to go home at some point and I can't have you worrying about me whistled you two are out"I said with a stronger voice then before.
"Okay, but please don't go out by yourself, if you want to look for them come to me"Derek said.
"Or me...Maybe"Peter stated but said 'maybe' after Derek glared at him while I gave him a small smile.I can tolerate Peter, to be honest I might even class him as a friend. Well I might have if he didn't like smash my head against the ground or throw me about like a reg-doll a year ago. I would of then considered him a friend but I don't fully trust him yet.

On the walk home my mind races off as million's of different thought's traveled through my mind.
What would of happened if I stayed with Erica and Boyd, could I of help fight back before be captured by the Alpha pack.Or would I have just been killed wear I stood for fighting back.
My mind wondered for hours before the last talk I had with Isaac filled my head.

"Your just giving up, like that?"Isaac yelled more as statement then question.

"I am not giving up....I just need a break. We have been doing this everyday and night since they went missing"I said staying clam.

"No your giving up. You don't want to help find them, I could understand if it was just Erica because you hate her but it's not just her, its Boyd as well. You and him are so close and yet you are just going to let him die thinking nobody ever cared enough to find him"Isaac shouted.

"That's not true. I would help find Erica. But I need a brake, You need a brake. We haven't slept in weeks even if we have it was just a few power naps here or there. Boyd knows we care and a year ago. Believe it or not I would of left all of you to die if it meant I survived"I shout back.He pushed it too far when he mentioned Boyd. Isaac looked at the ground, the way a puppy would after its been scolded.

"I'll find them myself. I don't need your help. But would you of left Derek to die too?"Isaac asked a little quieter now.

"Yes"I whispered without hesitation. Isaac turned and headed for my door. I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Your not allowed to leave my sight. Alpha's orders. And you must be crazy to go looking by yourself"I stated when he turned to me.

"Then help me"He replied in a whisper. Isaac was never one to ask for help much and I could see ask now was a new feeling for him.

"I can't"I said while looking at the ground. In one quick motion Isaac's arm was ripped away from my hand and the front door was wide open. "Isaac"I screamed before running after him. I fell to the woods floor out of exhaustion.

My thought was cut short when I felt strong arms wrap around my waist as my body was jolted back from a speeding lorry that was approaching.
"Are you crazy"Derek shouted as He spun round and placed me back on the curve.
"No, but..."I looked around. I looked back at Derek before his hands was placed on both of my cheeks. He whipped away the tears I hadn't even noticed had fallen."Your not okay are you?"Derek questioned but it came out as more of a statement.
"No, but I need to get home. I didn't lock the door before chasing after Isaac. I need to make sure everything is okay. And I left the puppy by himself"I said softly. He pulled me in to a hug.
"Do you want me to walk with you?"He asked but it sound more like ' You have no choice I am walking you home' too me. I nodded.He took my hand in his as we crossed the road.
