Jennie arrived at their mansion with Jisoo; her best friend is always welcome at their home, and her parents treat the latter as if she were their daughter.
"I'm glad you're here, Jisoo; you're right on time." Mrs. Kim welcomed the raven-haired woman.
"Of course, Auntie, I love your cooking, especially your chicken." Jisoo chuckles.
Jennie sneered, "A chicken lover."
"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Kim," a voice said, and when Jennie turned to face the source of the voice, her blood began to boil again.
"What are you doing here?" She asked her.
"Oh, hey Ms. Kim, and good evening." Lisa smiled widely.
" My night was now ruined because of you---- oh no Miss Jennie Kim, I wasn't referring to you, I am referring to Miss Kim, Kim Jisoo". Lisa smirked which Jennie boiled in anger.
"Hello Lalisa, nice to see you again," Jisoo hugged her.
"Likewise, hi Mrs. Kim, I missed you." Lisa approached the old woman and hugged her.
"Oh, I missed you too, Lalisa; finally, you returned, and didn't I tell you to stop being formal and just call me auntie?" Mrs. Kim said.
"I can't help it, Mrs, I mean, Auntie." She chuckles.
"That's better." Mrs. Kim smiled.
"Wow, I had no idea Lalisa was this close to your parents," Jisoo told Jennie in hushed tones.
" Well she's my parent's favorite scholar and I know there is another woman but I can't remember the name". Jennie answered.
Let us all eat," Mr. Kim announced.
"Anyway, where is Chaeyoung, Lalisa?" Mrs. Kim wondered while they were all eating.
"Oh, she's at work; she's currently focusing on her career as a designer, but she applied as a model to this well-known brand but she was rejected, worst she received discrimination," Lisa informed them.
"What exactly happened?" Mr. Kim inquired feeling sad for Chaeyoung.
"Well, Chaeng actually got the job to be the model of this brand, but a homophobic CEO noticed and asked about her gender reference. Of course, Chaeng told her the truth that she's gay, and this CEO didn't like her answer, so she withdrew the offer and replaced her, and worst of all, she humiliated her in front of everyone," Lisa explained, her eyes locked on Jennie the whole time.
" Poor Chaeyoung, how dare that CEO embarrassed that angel". Mrs. Kim said.
"She's too precious to face that kind of discrimination," Lisa added, eyes still fixated on Jennie.
"Lisa"
"Yes, Jisoo?"
"Was this woman, by any chance, applied on Chanel?" Jisoo asked her.
"I mean, was she this the tall lady with the ashy purple hair?" she clarified.
"Yes," Lisa replied, "And her name is Park Chaeyoung, my best friend."
Jisoo paused her eating and glanced at Jennie, who appeared unconcerned.
"What's wrong? Don't tell me it was Jennie who humiliated Chaeyoung?" Mrs. Kim asked.
"Unfortunately, yes, Auntie," Lisa responded.
" I don't care, she deserves it". Jennie said.
"Jennie! We didn't raise you to disrespect them; they deserve to be respected as well---- "Really, dad, you're going to scold me right in front of the food? Why is it such a big deal to all of you? I told you I hate gay!" Jennie yelled, stood up in her chair, and walked away.
"Jennie!" Her father exclaimed, but she didn't even flinch and kept walking away.

Jisoo approached Lisa after dinner, "Hey, I apologize for what happened earlier."
"No worries, I guess Ms. Kim really despises us, huh?" Lisa said, smiling but deep down she was hurt by how Jennie treated them.
"It all began when her ex-boyfriend cheated on her," Jisoo says.
"Yup, uncle told me, she hated me even before college, and she was opposed to her parents sponsoring me in college even though everyone knows I deserve it," Lisa recalls.
"I know you're a good person, Lisa and Uncle won't trust you if they don't believe your capabilities; I hope Jennie changes her mind soon."
"I hope so." Lisa shrugs.
"Anyway, I just want to thank you for defending Chaeng to Ms. Kim yesterday."
"I just did the right thing."
" I'm sorry to ask you this Chu but you're gay right?". Lisa asked then Chu quickly covered Lisa's mouth.
" Yah, lower your voice, Jennie might hear you". Said Chu and look around.
" So I'm right, my radar never failed". Lisa chuckled.
Lisa chuckled, "Dang, I can't believe my gaydar never failed."
"Yes, you're right," Jisoo nods, "but I can't tell Jennie, you know how we stand in her eyes. I'm not sure she'll be able to accept the fact that her best friend is gay."
"I understand but that must have been tough for you. It's hard to pretend that you're straight when you're not." Lisa chuckles. "Does your parents know about your identity?"
"Yes, but they're in the USA. I asked them to keep my secret so my secret is only between us, and my parents."
"Don't worry, Jisoo; your secret is safe with me," Lisa reassured her. She wrapped her arms around her shoulders.
"Make sure you do."
" Of course, so do you secretly also like your best friend?"
" What? No! She's not my type .... In fact, I do like someone else".
"Ohh, do tell...wait! Don't tell me it's me?!" Lisa exclaimed earning a hit from the raven-haired woman.
"Ouch." Lisa hissed.
"I was just kidding, so who?"
"Don't get mad okay."
"I'll try not to." Lisa shrugs.
" Your best friend". Chu answered which Lisa's eyes widen.
"Really?!"
"Lower your voice!" Jisoo hit her again.
"I'm sorry, are you sure?" Lisa asked. "If you want, I can help you."
"You will?!"
" Yah! Lower your voice!". Lisa copied Chu.
"I'm sorry, but are you sure?" Jisoo also imitated Lalisa.
"Yes, but promise me you won't hurt her or else I'll expose y---"You promised you won't tell!" Jisoo cut her off.
"Just kidding, but if you're certain about your feelings for Chaeng, I can help you, just make sure you won't hurt her," Lisa warned her.
" Arasso, when I saw her my heart flutter like this boom boom". Chu playfully pumps her chest.
"...Okay, I, I will help you." Lisa nods.
