destiny - George Weasley

Chapter 3

George and Evangeline are nearing the dining hall. Their fingers intertwined and their giggling like little kids. Evangeline gets grabbed by the wrist, very suddenly. George stops the minute he can't feel Evangeline's hand. George's head whips around to see Harry with hands on Evangeline.

"Back the fuck off Potter!" George says angrily, pulling Evangeline into his chest. She hugged him very tightly, feeling completely protected by him.

"Calm down, George... I had her first, don't forget that!" Harry spat before storming off.

Evangeline couldn't breathe, she fell into George and the room started spinning. George slowly brought her to the ground and kept telling her she was going to be okay. Shortly after, Evangeline felt alright again. She leaned into George's shoulder and drifted to sleep.

"Angie..." George whispered after a few minutes.

Evangeline was dead asleep.

"Aww..." George pressed a kiss to her forehead and picked Evangeline up bridal style and carried her to her dorm.

George set her on the bed and helped her get into her pajamas. Evangeline was groggy with sleep and changed right in front of George, without a care in the world. Once he realized what she was doing he turned away, knowing she'd probably be upset if she knew he looked. Once he knew she was changed he helped her get under her blankets. She cuddled herself up and fell right back asleep. George quietly walked over to the door; he grabbed the handle to open it when he heard Evangeline.

"Georgie..." She mumbled

"Yes, darling?" George said instantly at her side.

"Stay with me..." Evangeline said scooting over to make room for George

George smiled; his cheeks flushed red. He crawled under the blankets and pulled Evangeline into the curve of his body. He stroked her hair and felt her breathing steady. He kissed her forehead and held her tightly. He felt as though all his dreams were coming true. He smiled to himself thinking about his future with this girl. His eyes slowly fell shut, and he had fallen asleep with the girl he felt was his destiny.

Evangeline woke up the next morning very happy. George's arms were wrapped around her, loosely. He was still sleeping next to her, she rolled over to face him and smiled at the sight. She slowly crawled out of bed careful not to wake him, she walked into her bathroom and started to get ready. As she was brushing her teeth, she realized she dropped the cap of the toothpaste. She bent down to grab it, and when she stood back up two large hands wrapped around her waist.

"Good morning, Georgie" Evangeline giggled

George smiled, his hair messy and he kissed her shoulder

"Good morning, love" George said leaning into the crook of her neck.

Evangeline smiled at the sight; she could get used to this. However, she had to remember that her and George are not official yet.

"Alright George, you better head to get ready" Evangeline says pulling away from him.

"Nonsense, darling... I was thinking we could skip classes today and go to Hogsmeade" George says smiling

"No, Georgie! We have to go to class!" Evangeline says giggling

"Fine! But only because you're cute!" George says kissing her nose and heading back to his dorm to get ready.

Evangeline huffed once George had shut the door. What was she going to do? She went from having the slightest crush on George, and after realizing he liked her back, she had no idea what to do. She was being honest when she said she didn't want to rush into things with him. She wanted this relationship to last, she wanted to be happy with George. She didn't want this relationship to end up like what happened with her and Harry. Harry... Speaking of that little git, what was up with that stunt he pulled?

I had her first, don't forget that.

What was wrong with him? He had a lot of nerve to do that, he must've seen how happy she looked with George. Harry wasn't really known to be the jealous type, but Evangeline didn't care. What he did was wrong... and it hurt her.

Evangeline's thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on her door. Evangeline threw on the rest of her uniform and jogged to the door. When she opened it she looked right up into the eyes of Oliver Wood.,

"Heyyyy Aaaanngggiieeee" Oliver said with a sly smirk

"What do you want Oliver?" Evangeline said slightly annoyed

"Well, someone's grouchy" Oliver said booping Evangeline's nose

Evangeline scrunched her nose as Oliver just walked right into her dorm. Evangeline looked around worriedly and slipped out of the dorm before Oliver noticed. She bolted to George and Fred's dorm and pounded the door.

"Hey Angie!" One of the twins said opening the door

"Fred move!" Evangeline said pushing passed him

"Okay how did you know it was me?" Fred asked throwing his hand in the air

"Where the bloody hell is George?!" Evangeline says looking around

"Right here, darling"

His hands were wrapped around her waist, spinning her to face him.

"Come with me and do as I say!" Evangeline said tugging George out the door

"Make good choices children!" Fred calls after them

Evangeline pulls George back to her dorm, and when she opens the door Oliver is laying on her bed. He jumps up when she walks in, and his body tenses when he sees George.

"Oh hey George!" Oliver says approaching them.

Evangeline grabs George's hand and wraps it around her shoulder. George looks confused and then realizes what's going on.

"Oliver... enlighten me for a moment" George says releasing Evangeline and getting a clutch on Oliver.

"y-yeah George what's up?" Oliver asks nervously

"What are you doing here in my girlfriends' dorm?" George asks smirking

Evangeline blushes and crosses her arms meeting Oliver's gaze. Oliver grows uncomfortable and nervous and its clear for George and Evangeline to see.

"G-girlfriend? Oh I- I didn't know George, I'll be gone straight away!" Oliver says walking to leave the room

George grabs his wrist pulling him back to meet his gaze.

"Not so fast, Ollie!" George says pushing Oliver aggressively against the wall.

"if you so much as breathe in her direction again... you'll really wish you hadn't. Are we clear?" George asks looking into Oliver's eyes

"Crystal... I'm sorry George" Oliver says turning to Evangeline "And I'm sorry Angie it won't happen again!" and then Oliver rushes out of the room.

Evangeline sighs a breath of relief; she walks into George's arms. He smiles as he embraces her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. He pulls away from their embrace and shoots a smirk towards Evangeline.

"You know... that has a nice ring to it" George says heading for the door.

"What does?" Evangeline asks giggling

"Girlfriend."
