George lifted Evangeline in the air and spun her around. They were both laughing and smiling, it really was just how George had imagined it. He set her down and steadied her, she gazed up into his eyes. Evangeline stood on her tiptoes to reach his lips, but he raised his head so she couldn't reach.
"Georgie!!" Evangeline whined, pouting at him.
"Yes, Darling? What's the matter?" George asked, playing dumb
"Babe!" Evangeline pouted
George ignored her.
"George?"
He ignored her again
"GEORGE FABIAN WEASLEY!" She shouted in her best Molly Weasley impression.
George jumped and whipped his head around. His eyes were wide and he broke out into a fit of laughter.
"Got ya!" Evangeline giggled
"Oh yeah? You think that's funny?" George smirked tickling her
"GEORGE WEASLEY STOP THIS INSTANT" Evangeline shrieked
"No! you think you're so funny!" He chuckled tickling her even more.
He finally stopped ticking her and she calmed her laughter. She looked up into his eyes, and he smirked down at her.
"You're so bloody gorgeous, you know that right?" George asked placing his hands on her waist.
Evangeline smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"if you don't know how bloody gorgeous you are, you will now. I will remind you every single day" George said as he kissed her cheek.
"George..." Evangeline said slightly pulling away
"What's wrong, love?" He asked looking worried.
"There's nothing going on with you and Lynnie right?" Evangeline backed away from George, playing with her fingers.
George looked down, and then took a step towards Evangeline.
"I can promise you, Angie" George said stepping closer. He wrapped his arms around Evangeline's waist pulling her in.
Evangeline laid her head on George's chest, tears pricking at her eyes.
"She can't even compare to you, Angie" George said, as he placed a kiss to the top of her head.
Evangeline blushed, and then realized the time.
"George, we should get going to dinner!" Evangeline said as she started rushing around to fix her appearance.
"Merlin, you're right" George giggled
Evangeline and George rushed to get ready, they giggled the entire way to the dining hall.
They had made their way over to the Gryffindor table and sat by their friends.
"So....." Evangeline giggled, glancing at George
"We have something to tell you guys-" George began but he was cut off by two giggling girls standing behind him
"Hi Georgie!" They sung
"Uh, Hi?" George said, frustrated with their interruption.
"Um, Lynnie needs to talk to you" Ophelia giggled shoving her sister forwards
"Uh. In private..." Lynnie blushed
George flashed a look towards Evangeline. She was engaging in a conversation with Hermione, obviously trying to ignore Lynnie and Ophelia.
"No, whatever you have to say, you can say in front of my friends" George said
"Okay-" Lynnie began
"And girlfriend" George finished smirking
Lynnie and Ophelia grew angry.
"Girlfriend?!" Lynnie shouted
George grabbed Evangeline's waist, pulling her onto his lap. He kissed her cheek and looked at Lynnie. Then he kissed Evangeline's neck, and she blushed. Then after he looked Lynnie coldly in her eyes, he grabbed Evangeline's face and turned it towards him. He pressed a kiss to her lips and smiled at Lynnie.
"Yup, girlfriend" George said, grinning cheekily
Lynnie looked Evangeline up and down. She looked at Ophelia and they both burst out laughing.
"You can't be serious, George!" Lynnie giggled
Evangeline crossed her arms.
"And why's that?" Evangeline asked, growing angry
"Because you- "Lynnie could not even finish her sentence without laughing.
Ophelia then cut in "You honestly think, a little twat girl like you can compare to my sister?"
Evangeline's eyes widened.
"Oh really? So, this is how its going to be?" Evangeline said standing up
"Yeah, it most definitely is!" Lynnie said stepping up to Evangeline. Hermione was instantly at Evangeline's side.
"I'd think twice before you try to lay a hand on Evangeline" Hermione spat at Lynnie and Ophelia. Ginny looked over and saw what was going on and joined Hermione next to Evangeline.
"Yeah, I will absolutely fucking destroy you, and not just in quidditch." Ginny growled.
Lynnie and Ophelia quickly exchanged glances, and then looked over at the Weasley twins.
"well," Lynnie said sitting on George's lap. "You gave up your seat, Angie!"
Lynnie giggled and Ophelia then joined in. But several heads turned towards their table when a loud thud echoed throughout the dining hall.
George had pushed Lynnie off his lap, she landed on the ground hard. Glaring up at Evangeline, she flew up onto her feet. Standing nose to nose with Evangeline until an awfully hard, loud, intense slap.
"Merlin!? What is wrong with you, bitch??" Ginny said as she tackled Lynnie to the ground.
George and Fred jumped out of their spots. George pulled Lynnie off Ginny and Fred was holding Ginny back. Which believe it or not, was giving Fred quite a workout.
Evangeline ran her hands through her hair, she spun around seeing so many eyes on her friends. When Evangeline turned around, Lynnie had pulled George in and kissed him.
And he didn't pull away.
