I opened the door for Damian. He just looked at me, unimpressed. "Chivalry isn't dead" I nonchalantly say. He ignored me and just walked into my room. I stuck my tongue out at him while his back was turned. "You seem more childish than I had hoped, Snow." He said, he says as he turns around. I immediately stop and ask: "How do you know my last name." "Grayson told me." "oh" I say, dumbfounded and unable to retort something smart back. Damian simply rolled his eyes and sat down on my fluffy carpet. I decided to sit down as well, hoping something could diffuse the tension. "So how old are you Snow?" He asked, moving on as if nothing happened. "I'm fourteen, you?" "huh. Seems we are the same age, Snow. That means we will be in the same class." "I guess so. Do you have any more siblings?" I asked, genuinely interested. He looked at me as if I was stupid. "Do you know anything about the Wayne family?" "Only what you and Grayson have told me. Should I know more about the Wayne family?" "Are you familiar with Wayne Industries?" "No, not really. But I guess it does sound familiar." "My father is Bruce Wayne. The billionaire? Richest man in Gotham? Ring a bell?" "I have heard of him. He's your father? I suppose it's a no-brainer you go to Gotham Academy, that place just screams hi I'm Rich, want to come with me to my private tennis court?" Surprisingly, he just laughed. A real genuine laugh. It was charming and infectious. I laughed with him. It was nice, and I strangely wanted to keep this as a cherished memory.

We were in a fit of laughter, and suddenly the door opened, and Grayson stepped in with Chris following him. Damian stopped almost immediately, but it was too late. They Beatrice and Damian laughing without a care in the world. Grayson and Chris looked shocked. How could anyone make Damiane Wayne laugh?

I, Beatrice Snow, had officially changed my mind about Damian Wayne. Grayson said it was time to go, and Chris decided to tag along. We went out to the car and headed to the mall. The conversation in the car ride over to the mall consisted of Grayson and Chris talking over everything we needed to get. When we arrived, Grayson proposed that we split up. Surprisingly, Chris agreed, and Damian and I were told to get uniforms, so that Grayson and Chris could get supplies. It would take longer to get supplies, so Damian and I had to meet up with them after. As Chris and Grayson walked away, I was left with Damian. "Well, should we get to it?" "Okay." I answer him absent-mindedly. We began making our way to the tailor that had our uniforms.

We began talking like we had known each other for years, or at least more than a few hours. When we reached a poster for a random concert, I decided to challenge him: "Race ya to the shop!" I began sprinting using all my energy, but suddenly the world became slow, and I stopped running. My shoes were on fire, and the world seemed slow. I sat down, trying to ground myself. As if I was in a trance, I stared at nothing and everything. I tried to grasp what just happened. I felt someone next to me talking to me. I couldn't respond. Wouldn't respond. I needed to find out what happened. I suddenly felt myself being picked up bridal style. I think it was Damian, but I'm not sure. I thought that was the same thing Barry Allen, my mom's friend, could do. But it was impossible for me to have superspeed. Right? I guess I never knew my dad. I simply never questioned it. I did have ice powers because of my mom, Caitlyn Snow. It was a sort of Taboo to talk about her "other side".

I got pulled out of my trance by someone shaking me and a flashlight in my eyes. I discovered I still was in the mall. Apparently, there was a doctor nearby. Damian quickly discovered I was myself again and thanked the doctor. He got me up and standing, and we were soon walking again by linking our arms together. He began asking a ton of questions, while I studied myself against him. "What happened?" "I don't know." "Are you okay?" "I'm fine." "Let's meet up with the others as soon as possible." "You haven't called them yet?" "I didn't know what was happening, and I don't think you need more people around you" He answered, referring to the small crowd surrounding the incident.

We finally made it to the tailor and picked up our uniforms. They were navy and white. A skirt with knee-high socks, a dress shirt (would be replaced with a polo shirt during the summer.) and lastly a blazer with the school's crest. There was also a tie, but you could choose not to wear it.

We walked straight back to the others after that. Damian told them what happened, and apparently, everybody else thought it would be a good idea to go to Wayne Manor.
