Bubbletea

The three of you rushed to school covered in sweat and your words filled with pants.

You arrive as your old friend from 5th grade explained that she was a new transfer student.

When the three of you arrive at your classroom, you obviously got a scolding from your homeroom teacher.

You put down your bags and sat down at your assigned seats.

Sakusa's Pov

I knew it was a bad idea to actually come to her house on a school day. Ahhhh there goes my school reputation as a model student.

I don't know why, despite the fact that she's always so happy, I never really thought she'd be a lonely person. I've known her for a long time, that's it, there's nothing more to it. Well it's not like she doesn't have friends other than me in this school.

I only know a few things about her, for example, she's a really messy person, really loud, and annoying. That's it, really. After her mom passed away I thought she'd be ok. That's not something I know for sure. I don't know if it's a good idea to ask her, but then again, I just wanna make sure she's doing ok.

Author's Pov

Class ends as you come out of the class room having a nice chat with your friend from 5th grade.

"So...who was that?!?" She yelled. It seems like everyday she couldn't get any louder. Yes, you're loud as well but not as loud as her.

"That was my childhood friend" you said with a smile on your face.

"Wait, does that mean you've known him longer than me?!?" She said as you sat down at a table in the cafeteria.

"Yep" you said and chuckled as she growls like a dog.

"Why? Are u jelous~?" You said in a teasingly manner.

"HA WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I'D BE JELOUS OF A MAN WHO SPENT MOST OF HIS LIFE WITH YOU?" She said, in her usual loud voice again. You slapped her arm as you both laughed.

"Umm.." you heard a familiar voice, you looked up and saw Sakusa looking for a place to sit down on.

"Ohhh~ what's wrong Omi? Are you lonely without me?" You teased.

His face turns bright red and said "What? Ofcourse not, it's just that there wasn't anywhere else to sit so..." he said in a shy voice.

You laughed at the sight of a shy and flustered Sakusa. He sat down as you continued to talk. He kept on looking at you as if he had something to say, but ofcourse he didn't say anything.

The school bell rings and class began once again.

Y/n's Pov

Class is always so boring to the point that I just end up doodling in my notebook. Ahhh I wanna have some bubbletea...

I look over to my left side and found Omi staring at me. For the first time in forever, I got flustered and turned my head away. He noticed my strange behavior and shifted his gaze to the classroom chalkboard.

Really...I never understand what's going in that head of his...wonder if I'll be able to get to know more about him before we graduate...

Author's Pov

School ends, and the three of you tired from all the schoolwork.

"Guys let's go get bubbletea!" You said in your usually jolly voice. They were surprised by the fact that you could still keep your sanity up, even though the day was hell.

"Sure Im up for it..." even Midori lost the jolliness in her voice.

Sakusa just nods his head in response to your idea.

"Well then let's go get some good ol' bubbletea!"

(Apologies for not giving her friend a name earlier in the story. I couldn't really think of one.
