I Respect People that Tell Me the Truth.
No Matter How Hard it is.

"What kind of conversation was that!?" Felix asked stupidly to himself.
If it was anything but simple, he would have described his experience as terrifying and nerve-wracking. Why did he have to agree in helping out a brother of a serial killer? Why did this mad murderer trust him enough to reveal her identity to him? What was it with him today?!
Felix frustratedly rubbed his face and flopped down onto his bed and whimpered to himself as he heard Taeil's ringtone calling out to him. Felix wondered what was important enough for Taeil to call him at this moment. Felix blindly searched for his phone and accepted Taeil's call.
"Hmmm? Can you not see that I am in full distress and that I need some time alone?" Felix grunted and kept his face on his mattress.
"Yeah, yeah. I met Chris in the middle of the streets, so I was wondering if you would like to eat some street food. Is that ok with you?" Taeil muffled.
Felix laughed as Taeil sounded very funny because of his thick mask covering his mouth, "Yes, grandma. Is there tteok-bokki or gimbap? I ate cereal after your hand-made pasta. So- what do you say?"
"Oh yeah, and no- I cannot see that you are in distress. Is there anything wrong? Tell me or I'll come to your house right away without the tteok-bokki." Taeil tried to shout over his mask, but it just made him sound even funnier than intended.
"Um...nothing really. I-I was just being sarcastic. Spend your precious time with Chris, 'cause I-I'm fine, Taeil." Felix ended their call and rolled over, facing the ceiling.
Was he really fine?
In his entire life, he was really neglected because his parents were very concentrated on making a ton of money, so his parents would leave him by himself often. This habit of his parents' started when he was at the age of ten. He had no friends whatsoever, nobody to take care of him, no nanny or loving guardians to look after him. At the beginning of age ten, he was alone. No homemade food. No mother to comfort his pain, whether mentally or physically. No father to play soccer with. Nobody was by his side until he met Moon Taeil.
Moon Taeil, a guardian angel to Felix.
Taeil was only sixteen when he met little Felix. Taeil was literally a brick. He did not interact with other students around his age. He rarely talked. He didn't even want to breathe in other people's direction. Taeil was the walking definition of a socially anxious vampire. But what changed Moon Taeil into the Moon Taeil today?
Well for starters, age. People change over time, no matter if there was a modification in the environment or not. Secondly, Felix was like the hero against Taeil's depression.
Yes, Taeil was depressed at the age of sixteen- who wouldn't be?
Taeil was forced to become a medical student at the age of fourteen and he had to continue down that path and travel aboard, all alone. Stress and the overwhelming fear of disappointment had Taeil tied down onto a boulder, eventually crushing Taeil until he did not want to exist any longer. Taeil was not perfect. He was a human being who had been trapped in a box of expectations. A box of expectation that he could not break through, which eventually almost killed him.
But when sixteen-year-old Taeil met ten-year-old Felix- that was when both of their lives altered into a new beginning.
