OKAY I'M SURE WE WERE ALL WAITING FOR THIS ONE. So I absolutely adore both of these bands, but I am gonna come out and say I like Megadeth more. And as far as the whole Dave/Metallica feud, I've always agreed with Dave. Like I'm sorry, but what they did kicking him out without warning and without a second chance and then making him seem like a "loser" was terrible. And they all had drinking issues, but Dave would get angry when he got drunk as opposed to the other members of Metallica, who got really silly. That's not something he could help. Also, the reason Lars wanted to fire Dave was because he broke Phil Sandoval's ankle because he pushed Lars. So after Dave defended Lars, he kicked him out of the band, which bothers me. And also the fact that Dave is a way better guitarist. I just feel for Dave.
