I know ya'll don't read my notes, but please read this:

I've been a KISS fan for as long as I remember myself, but I distinctly remember hearing an Eric Carr drum solo (YES ERIC'S DRUM SOLOS AREN'T BORING ONE BIT) and I asked out loud, "Is that a robot?"

When I got to know Eric's personality (and looks lmao), all my little mind thought about was meeting Eric Carr and "being his friend", so the die I found out Eric wasn't alive anymore, I was so upset : ( I'm gonna come right out and say I like Eric looks, personality, and musically more than any other KISS drummer and possibly any other drummer.

Eric was actually born Paul Caravello. He got his first drumset from a store that was shutting down. His dad bargained with the guy and eventually the guy said they would give him the set for 25 dollars if they helped him clean out his store.

Eric was a drummer/singer (please listen to him sing Beth, it's amazing) in small club bands, and one of them broke up in 1980, they gave him a flyer for the hottest band in the world, KISS, looking for a drummer.

The guys in KISS excepted Eric because he had a happy go lucky personality and was really laid back and didn't have a big ego, but also because of the pure talent he had drumming and singing.

Ace Frehley and Eric Carr remained friends even after Ace left the band in 1982, but Eric was also great friends with Bruce Kulick, who joined the band in September of 1984 after Vinnie Vincent also left.

Eric overall ended up recording seven albums with KISS in his lifetime.

Unfortunately in 1990, Eric began having flu-like symptoms. About a month later they found a mass in his heart and found out it was cancer, a very rare, and deadly cancer. Eric was going to let that stop him he had open heart surgery and performed a few more shows with KISS. November 9th, 1990 he played his last show.

Eric wasn't letting his declining health stop him. Paul and Gene called in another drummer, Eric Singer, and refused to let Eric drum on Revenge. In the end he drummed on one track and did backing vocals to God Gave Rock n' Roll to You ll. He drummed in the video, but other than that Paul and Gene did not give him his last wish of drumming with KISS his "lifeline."

Eric would call Ace Frehley and cry because he wasn't in KISS anymore, so Eric drummed on Ace's solo projects.

September 1991 was Eric's last appearance with KISS, two days later he had an aneurysm. Eric Carr fell into a coma because of a hemorrhage near the end of his life and on November 24th, 1991 Eric had died.

I think about Eric everyday and he is one of the reasons I became a drummer. Everyone always was there for the fans and I only wish he was here to see all of his fans now.

Eric I know you're reading this, you always read your fan's letters. Thanks for everything. For your kindness and your music. I'll never forget you, Eric. I love you so much and as much as people say I can't because I never knew you personally, I do.

And lastly, as you all I'm sure, know Eric was accused of rape and to me it's SICKENING. Anyone who's experienced Eric's personality the littlest bit knows Eric wouldn't do that. The person who made those claims was trying to get money from a man who's no longer here. I've seen the bath pictures she's talking about and she didn't take them, a journalist did. The journalist said she wouldn't release them, so Eric let her take pictures, but they got released the next week. She is a liar and I hope everyone knows that.

RIP Eric Carr

RIP Foxman

RIP Paul Caravello
