Ike rubbed her head as she watched John bend down in laughter. She didn't seem to get what exactly was funny.

Her very much sarcastic side that only John had seen and known; she practically showed it to everyone that afternoon.

"Will you stop laughing now?" Ike asked as John burst into laughter again.

"On whose side were you on exactly because I really don't know" John replied as Ike arched her eyebrow at him.

"I wasn't on anyone's side. I was just trying to make them see the truth" Ike replied as she scooped the last spoon of ice cream into her mouth.

"So who do you think is at fault between Gloria and Tomisin?" John asked as Ike shrugged.

"The both of them. Obviously something happened to Snr Tomisin. Something big that he had to break up with Gloria in a slight haste. Gloria should have tried to find out what was wrong and Snr Tomisin should have also tried to trust his girlfriend more and open up to her" Ike replied as John nodded and reclined on his seat.

"I saw your bucket list" John said as Ike rolled her head.

"Of course you saw it because I sent you a screenshot" Ike replied and John laughed.

"So you finally decided to try falling in love?" John asked and Ike nodded.

"I have a short time left, it wouldn't hurt as much but can I fall in love with someone in such time?" Ike asked uncertainty in her heart and John chuckled.

"Even in a second, you could fall in love with someone. It could diminish and also disappear" John said as Ike's phone rang in the room.

She picked the phone and pressed it to her ears wondering why the person would call her.

"Heyy Ike, what's up?" Jumoke asked as Ike wore a small smile.

"I'm fine. Any problem?" Ike asked.

"What kind of juju did you use ehn?" Jumoke asked in a teasing voice while Ike raised an eyebrow.

"Juju? What's going on?" Ike asked as she glanced at John.

"You remember the Physics project the Physics teacher was talking about the other time?" Jumoke asked and Ike nodded.

"Yeah. I remember" Ile replied.

"So he decided to pair us with the other class together. Guess who you got paired with?" Jumoke said as Ike frowned her face.

"Who?" Ike asked.

"Freaking Juola Matthews!" Jumoke replied and Ike froze.

"Matthews Juola?" Ike asked again as if unsure.

"Yeah girl. I am so jealous of you. You got paired with such an handsome specimen. Do you want ro exchange?" Jumoke asked and Ike grinned lightly.

"No, its fine. Thank you though" Ike replied and Jumoke laughed.

"Sure. See you at school tomorrow" Jumoke said as she hung up. Ike slowly brought her hand down from her ears as she chuckled.

"Hey fate, what kind of tricks are you playing at again?" Ike asked as John stared at her amused.

"What? Don't even think about it. He's way above my league, I mean I def can't fall in love with him" Ike said as John raised his two hands upwards.

"I didn't say anything" John joked as Ike snickered.

"I could read the messages you were saying with your eyes and expression" Ike replied as John laughed and folded his arms.

"Who's he though?" John asked as Ike opened her phone and scrolled through her gallery and dropped her phone in front of John.

"Wow. That's a hot guy there" John said as he scrolled through the pictures and raised his eyebrow at Ike.

"You have so many of his pictures" John said as Ike chuckled.

"They happened to talk about him on the group a few days ago and someone sent his pictures and its just seven pictures" Ike countered and John laughed raising his hands upwards again.

"So what's with him? He looks kinda lonely" John said as he dropped Ike's phone back in the table while Ike pursed her lips and nodded.

She knew and trusted John skills. He could easily see through people just by seeing them, their pictures and even by them talking.

"He actually has no friends" Ike said as she remembered Dare.

"No, he has but he doesn't attend our school" Ike replied as John nodded.

"What's his deal? Parental stuff? Because he doesn't look like someone who has a low self esteem. Practically everyone in your set wants to be friends with him" John said as Ike chuckled.

"Your skills are unrivaled" Ike replied while John shrugged.

"He lost his mom in our Junior class. JSS1 third term I think and he got so affected that he didn't come to school for almost a month. When he came back, he alienated himself from everyone. He was always alone" Ike said as she folded her arms.

"He's a genius though. Never left his first position even once" Ike replied as John nodded.

"Wow" John said as Ike nodded.

"He's Matthews Juola though" Ike said as John nodded again.

"I heard you the first time" John said as Ike shook her head.

"Doesn't Matthews ring a bell in your head?" Ike asked as John blinked his eyes a few times before he raised an eyebrow.

"He's Peter Matthews son? The ones on the richest men in Africa list?" John asked as Ike nodded.

"Yeah. He is" Ike replied as John reclined in his seat again.

"Wow" John said as Ike pursed her lips and sighed.

"Now that you mention it, I kinda pity him. I think he was so close to his mom that he couldn't believe that she was gone" Ike said as she stretched her legs on the sofa.

"I don't think I'll be fine if I lose my mom" Ike added and John chuckled.

"Just focus on doing everything in your bucket list" John said as Ike turned to him and chuckled.

"You know its impossible to me to see BTS perform live right? I just wrote it there as a joke. Its something I want to do before I die but I know that its impossible" Ike said as John chuckled.

"You'll see them perform trust me"
