Ike walked into the house throwing her hands upwards with a smile on her face. She wiggled her body as she walked towards the door not knowing that the gateman had not closed the door and Juola was watching her amused.

"What's she's doing?" Juola asked no one in particular and laughed as Ike tried to dance to an imaginary music.

The gateman was surprised as well as he laughed making Ike to turn and while she was about to snort at him she saw Juola laughing heartily.

While entranced seeing him laugh, as she realized why he was laughing, she fled making Juola bend over the car as he laughed harder.

"What was he still doing there?" Ike asked as she closed her eyes and hid behind the door placing her hands on her face.

"Baby, are you okay?" Her dad asked as Ike quickly removed her hands from her face and smiled.

"I just....  Yunno.... Never mind" Ike replied as her dad looked at her slightly surprised.

"Did something happen?" Her dad asked as Ike turned to him slowly internally praying her dad didn't see her dancing.

"What do you mean by that Dad?" Ike asked as Mr Adeniyi shrugged.

"Your smile. It was a sincere one. You looked happy and ...... excited" Mr Adeniyi replied as Ike chuckled and smiled widely.

"I'll be fine Dad" Ike said as she walked towards her dad and wrapped her hands around him as her dad patted her head.

"I know" Mr Adeniyi replied as he wore a sad smile and tried to hold back the tears in his eyes.

Ike felt her phone buzz and brought it out of her pocket and pursed her lips upon seeing about fifteen missed calls. About thirteen were from Gloria while the remaining two came from Chidima.

She chuckled as she dialed her number again and dropped the phone on the bed, connecting it to her ear pods as she fixed it in her ears.

Gloria picked up on the first ring and Ike wanted to laugh.

"Ike?" Gloria called out slowly and Ike chuckled.

"What's up Gloria? I saw your missed calls" Ike said as she heard silence on the other end.

"I'm sorry Ike" Gloria said and Ike smiled.

"Its okay babe. Its fine. We are cool now" Ike replied.

"I waited for you in the car park and when I saw you it was it Juola! The hell girl" Gloria screeched as Ike laughed as she glanced at her phone and saw Chidima calling.

"Chi Chi is calling. I'm making it a conference call" Ike said as she picked Chidima's call.

"Ike you were paired with Juola Matthews! " Chidima exclaimed as soon as Ike pocked the call. The latter laughed as she folded her arms.

"You guys didn't know?" Ike asked.

"That's not the point. That guy may be as hot and sexy as heavens and earth as damn! He's too quiet and acts like a sadist" Chidima replied and Ike burst into laughter.

"I saw you get into his Lamborghini. Where did you guys go to?" Gloria asked as Ike stood up and walked towards the fridge.

"His house" Ile replied and the screams that followed almost made her deaf.

"Guys, I'm really going to go deaf" Ike said laughing as she brought out a bowl of ice cream from the fridge.

"His house? To do what?" Gloria asked as Ike shrugged.

"To do our project nah. What else?" Ike asked as Chidima laughed.

"Madd oh" Gloria replied as Ike laughed.

"It must have been dry. I mean that guy is mad quiet" Chidima said as Ike pursed her lips.

"Its was actually really cool. I mean it went on smoothly. He also dropped me off at home" Ike said.

"Wow. That's surprising" Chidima said as Gloria sighed.

"Stop talking like that Chidima. You know that he became like that after his lost his mom" Gloria said as the trio went quiet.

"Why did you have to bring that up ehn?" Chidima asked as Ike sighed.

"I don't know. I felt so sorry for him. I heard some of B class students talking about him today. They said he never comes to school on his mom's anniversary" Gloria replied as Chidima sighed into the phone.

"Let's stop talking about it already. I'm getting goosebumps and all" Chidima said as Ike chuckled.

"How's your projects coming along?" Ike asked.

"I got paired with Stephen so its a dead end. I have to it myself" Chidima replied as Gloria and Ike burst into laughter.

"What did you do to Mr Alade for him to have paired you with that dumbass?" Gloria asked.

"I don't know o" Chidima replied as Ike burst into laughter as she scooped another spoon of ice cream into her mouth.

"Good luck oo. I and Juola are almost done sha. When he comes over tomorrow, we should we able to finish it" Ike said as Gloria and Chidima started cooing at her.

"Eeeeeee..... Wahala for persin wey no get partner like Juola o" Chidima said as the girls burst into laughter.

"I'll chat you guys up later" Ike said as Gloria nodded.

"Okay nah. See you guys later" Gloria replied as Ike removed her ear pods from her ears and hung up the call.

She glanced at her empty ice cream bowl and sighed. With her days drawing nearer and nearer, her symptoms had gotten thrice or maybe even four times worse and the need to take ice cream was very much alarming.

Ike grabbed her phone and fell on her bed. She opened her Instagram page and chuckled when she saw a picture of Lashes and Ibukun again.

Lashes was dressed in a yellow top and a white jean trousers while Ibukun wore a white blouse and a yellow jean trousers. Lashes held her hand while Ibukun's eyes were focused on her phone.

Apparently someone took the picture while they weren't looking.
