"Well, I wouldn't worry about it. No one has ever accused you of being bright Maddie. so it would be a shock to us all" my mother stated.

I just looked at her, bitch, I thought. "Ouch" I said, putting my hand over my heart, sarcastically. Not that her words ever had an effect on me, this was a typical Monday morning jab from my parents. I was not the daughter they expected out of a wall street tycoon.

"Heres the deal" my father started "you get your grades up this semester, you can have access to your trust fund when you graduate." Now this I pondered for a second dragging on the silence for my own satisfaction. In reality this was an offer I could not pass up, I could finally pursue my dreams of getting the hell out of this place and travel.

Cliche. I know but I was never allowed to travel, I always had to stay back and practice my piano or prefect my trot on my newest horse. I was so over this lifestyle, the money was nice but this wasn't the real me.

"Deal" I agreed, satisfied I turned on my heal and ran up the marble stairs to get ready for my last semester of school ever. I threw on a black top and covered it with a black fringe jacket, I paired it with blue jean daisy dukes and a pair of boots. I had a more free spirit but headstrong personality and it didn't fit in with the dainty society that surrounded me. I never put up with anyones shit which made a lot of people my age somewhat afraid of me, I never really cared though.

I checked my grades from last semester before I headed downstairs and just like I thought my english grade was still at a solid D-. I needed to get that up in one semester, hopefully the new english teacher will be more understanding and let me get by with some extra credit. How I was going to manage this one I had no clue.

I ran downstairs waving bye to the morning maid and got into my car, a brand new bentley . To say the least I am a spoiled brat and I use it to my advantage but so do half the kids my age in this town. I live in a smaller but exclusive, Im talking relations too royalty and the president exclusive, community right outside of Los Angeles, which means a lot of gossip.

I start up the car and head to my favorite little coffee place. Its called Joe's Joe, kind of run down but they guy who owns the place, Joe, makes the best coffee I've ever had. I pull up to the drive through and order my usual.

          "Hey Joe" I greet.

"Maddie, always nice to see you" Joe nods, once I get my coffee I continue on to school.

As I pull into my parking space I muster up the energy to get through this day, like I said I don't really fit in which comes with an unwanted reputation developed by obnoxious rumors. Most of the guys want me and most of the girls despise me because the guys want me. Im known as a partier and drug addict both extremely untrue but again obnoxious rumors.

I make my way in and stop at the front desk to get my new schedule, you can do this Maddie, I thought to myself. Scanning my schedule I see english is my first period just great, first thing in the morning. There was no way I was going to be able to get through that.

"Excuse me" I say to the lady at the front desk "Is there anyway I can move this class to a later period?"

"Sorry hun those classes are all full and second semester schedules are final." she answers.

I huff in response and storm out making my way towards the class. I walk in and take a seat in the back hoping to go unnoticed. I scan the room looking for the new english teacher but I don't see a teacher here. I've still got five minutes before class starts so I pull out my phone and start scrolling through twitter to pass time.

The bell rang and the last person who walked in is who I assumed was the new teacher, I couldn't get a good look at him from the back so I sat up and peered around the person sitting in front of me. I was taken aback to say the least.

The shape of his face was beautiful. His strong jaw jutted out like a recently sharpened blade. His green eyes stared back at me, glistening. Then he smiled, two dimples on each side and teeth so perfect it probably took years of braces to achieve. He ran a hand through his short, black hair and focused back on the class. I could see all the other girls also drooling over the new teacher so I picked my head up and pretended that I didn't just gawk at the most alluring man I've ever seen.

"Hello class, my name is Mr. Cage" He soothed with a deep enough voice to trigger the nearest volcano to erupt.

He called names off the roster and while I listened to his voice I imagined the things he could do to me, he looked too young to be a teacher. Damn imagination this is unrealistic, crazy, he's my teacher I thought...but that voice. I couldn't get it out of my head.

He got to my name, "Madelyn Price" my head shot up at the sound of my name coming out of his mouth. It was so smooth and delicate but dominant and demanding.

"Here" I gulped trying not to sound so disturbed. He smiled at me and continued on.

When he finished he went on about the topics we would discuss this semester, he passed out the syllabus and I droned out the rest of his talking, daydreaming about him saying my name over and over and doodling on the papers.

"Now to tell you a little bit about me, My full name is Warren Cage, you will address me as Mr. Cage, I graduated from Duke last year, I am twenty three years old and have a rambunctious puppy doberman named Zeus. I play lacrosse and I am the new lacrosse coach, so boys, come see me after class if you are interested. I love the english subject and read a lot, I am interested in book suggestions so if
you have any of those you can also see me after class." He rambled on.

No mention of a wife or girlfriend, I peered over again and saw no ring on his finger. A dangerous plan formed in my head, maybe, just maybe it would work.
