Screaming. Someone is screaming. My eyes fly open and I sit up confused. Realizing it's just my parents mid-morning fight I flip back down. Ughhh.
"It's Saturday morning" I yell,"shut the hell up." but they wouldn't, of course. They probably didn't even hear me. Saturday's are usually my lazy days but not this one I was going to get shit done. After I laid in bed for a little pondering if I actually want to get out of bed. Today I was going to do some planning. I needed to shop, get my hair done, get a facial, I need to be as prepared as I can. I need this plan to work.
I Jump in the shower really quick to wash off the day before, shaving each leg carefully. After i'm done I get dressed throwing on some black yoga pants, my favorite band tee, Jimmy Eat's World, and a leather jacket. Pairing it with some leather boots. I finish getting ready and turn to go downstairs.
As I stroll into the kitchen neither of my parents are in sight, my father probably already left for the office and my mother is probably already on her way to Rodeo to spend just enough money to get over whatever they were fighting about this morning. The morning maid was there cleaning up a broken lamp.
"Good morning Matild, was breakfast made this morning?" I ask as politely as I can, I'm honestly surprised we haven't lost more help considering the way my parents behave around them.
"Yes ma'am there is some eggs benedict in the fridge, I can warm some up for you." she answers.
"No need, I can get it myself thank you." I say smiling at her "and I apologize for my parents this morning I know it isn't always easy, for all of your sake's I wish they would get along." She didn't say another word but smiled at me knowingly. They have all told me how bad they feel not directly but would comfort me when I was little and my parents would fight.
I warmed up my breakfast and sat to eat. I thought about my plan, this had to work, this was my only way out. Finishing up I put my dishes in the sink and grabbed my keys, skipping outside in a better mood than usual. Mr. Cage was going to be mine.
I decided to go shopping first my appointments weren't till later so I headed to the mall. I walked around for a bit just window shopping, I needed to find the perfect dress, one that was sexy but not too sexy, just subtle enough to make Mr. Cage do a double take. I passed by Gucci and there it was sitting on a mannequin, the perfect dress. Its simple, black, comes down to the knee and dips low at the chest, it has fabric going up the back and wrapping around the neck like a choker. It was the perfect dress. I walked into the store and grabbed my size off the hanger. Going to check out I ran smack into Layla Pierce.
"Well, well, well if it isn't Maddie Price, you decided to come out of hiding today? Shopping for a new slutventure I see." she yammered. God she was so annoying. Layla was someone I guess you could consider my enemy, I didn't like her but I never acted on it and she definitely did not like me and she always acted on it. She was just jealous though, poor girl. All of her boyfriends have hit on me while they were with her and I can't help it but since that's been happening she's made it her mission to make my life a living hell. It hasn't worked Ive never given into her antics.
I smiled my most fake smile "Hello Layla, its always a pleasure."
"Im sure it is but listen I heard you talked to Parker the other day and he invited you to the party tonight, but I don't want you to get any ideas so don't bother talking and don't talk to him again or I will make sure you regret it." she threatened. Oh please I thought.
"I wouldn't dream of it." I said to her and walked away to the checkout counter. Next on the agenda was my hair appointment and then a facial.
...
My day was finally over and I pulled into the driveway, who knew it was this exhausting being a girl, no wonder my mother comes home and drinks a whole bottle of wine every night.
I went up to my room and set out my dress. It was definitely the right choice, I got everything else ready for Monday, I would officially put my plan into works. Let's hope this work's.
