My head was in a rush, was this actually going to work? Did Mr. Cage actually like me? He was flirting with me right? I had so many questions I couldn't focus on where I was going and I ended up in the wrong class. I was trying to catch my breath and process what just happened between me and Mr. Cage when I look up and a room full of freshman were staring at me. Ugh I gotta get out of here.

I ran to my car not bothered by the fact that it was pouring down rain, I quickly started the engine and blasted the heat. Maybe this plan would work, I didn't even think there was a chance. This dress couldn't have done that much damage, so he's actually interested in me? He didn't even know me though. My head was spinning and I grabbed a cigarette from my middle console. I didn't smoke, I don't smoke, but I needed a cigarette to help me gather my thoughts.

As I lit the end of the cigarette there was a knock on my window.

"Mr. Cage" I laughed embarrassed that he caught me smoking on school property "Did you need something?"

"I believe Madelyn you are supposed to be in class but I see you needed a break." he said gesturing to the death stick in my hand "If you need like a break for the rest of the day, my classes have been canceled due to a science field trip. Would you like to join me for lunch?" I screamed yes on the inside like a little girl over and over. Not only would this help my plan but my mind and body wasn't resisting.

"Is this appropriate Mr. Cage?" I question putting my cigarette out.

"I won't tell if you won't." he answers with a smirk. I turned my car off and grabbed my bag letting him lead the way to his car.

He owned a brand new BMW i8 and watching him drive was a straight panty dropper if I've ever witnessed one. He was polite but owned the roads, taking the turns sharp but not sharp enough to make me move in my seat.

We pulled into a tiny parking lot and the building in front of me read Owl Street Grill "What is this place?" I question because I've lived here my entire life and I've never heard of it.

"A hidden gem." Mr. Cage smoothly says. He unbuckles and so do I staring up at the building questioningly. He walks around to my side of the car and opens the door before I can get my hand on the handle. A true gentleman I thought to myself smiling up at him. We walk inside and a server with the name that read Gary on the tag lead us to a table in the back. The outside is a serious mislead from the inside, it's very hipster with a lit up bar in the back, dark wood tables and an industrial ceiling.

"The food here is amazing!" he excites "they have a variety of everything, try the fried pickles." He went on like a teenage boy with a full buffet in-front of him and then I realized. What was I doing here? Why did he invite me?

"Mr. Cage why did you invite me to lunch?" I ask.

He looks at me like I'm crazy, then folds his hands together and looks directly in my eyes "I want to know you Madelyn, there's something about you that I can't figure out, something special and I want to find out what it is. I want to find out who you are."

"What like somethings wrong with me because if this is some type of charity or therapy, you can talk to me whenever your upset type of thing then I'm good thanks." I argue back, beginning to pack up my things.

"Madelyn wait." he pleads, his brow furrows like he's having a hard time saying this to me or he has to shit, Im not really sure "No it's not like that, hear me out I am your teacher but you are incredibly sexy and I haven't been able to get you off my mind since you walked into my class last week. I like you and I want to get to know you, I know it's not right to take it any further so I'm not going to but I just have to know more about you because you are all I can think about."

I sank back down into the booth, what the hell? Did..did he just admit to being sexually attracted to me? Trying not to let the astonishment show on my face I perfect a smirk on my face and sit up crossing my arms on the table.

"Well Mr. Cage I think we share mutual feelings." I said confidently. What he didn't know were that my legs were shaking under the table fifty percent from fear that I was actually going to proceed with my plan and fifty percent screaming for him to shove me up against a wall and show me what was under that button down shirt and khaki pants. Now I know how he feels this plan should be easier than I thought.

"And Madelyn if you would please not say anything to anyone. My superiors would still deem this and any other time we spend together outside of school, inappropriate." He explains.

"Of course Mr. Cage I enjoy your company and I want to spend more time with you, I wouldn't even think about saying anything." I assure.

"I'm glad we're on the same page Madelyn." he beams. Our server came over to get our orders. Mr. Cage didn't back down on the fried pickles, which made me double over in laughter. He is funny, genuinely funny, he had wit and charisma that lit up a room and I lost myself while I was with him. I felt comfortable and safe like he could protect me from anything, I felt this more with him than anyone I'd ever experienced in my life.

"I love how you say my name." I say.

"What do you mean? Your name is Madelyn right? How else would you say it?" He asks in-between bites.

I smile at him finishing my last bite of food "nobody calls me Madelyn. Everyone calls me Maddie. My entire life, my full name is Madelyn but nobody has every called me Maddie. I wouldn't let them call me by my full name, I never really liked it but I love the way you say it."

He smiled genuinely "well Madelyn let's get you back to school."
