It seems like yesterday I was bringing Makayla home from the hospital.
Now I'm sitting on the couch with Makayla sitting right next to me.
My daughter is now a teenager she is 14 years old and I'm sad cause she is growing up a little fast.
Makayla's POV
My dad has been acting strange lately and I wanna know what is wrong with him.
Hey dad can I ask you something I said curious about his answer.
Yea sure sweetheart he said with a sad look on his face.
How come you've been acting so strange when you're around me I asked confused.
Honestly, I want you to be my baby forever and ever he said even sadder.
Dad I'll always be your baby from now to the end of time I said smiling.
He smiled to himself then responded.
Really Makayla you mean that he asked happily.
Yes daddy I do mean that cause I love you.
I love you too Makayla he said kissing me on the forehead.
I put my head on his lap and laid across the sofa to take a nap. He played with the blue highlight of my hair until I was sound asleep.
