Sam and I had not been talking and I had not been making him food and also been avoiding him. He had not apologized and I wasn't going to talk till he did.
I put on make-up and dressed up for the wedding and I looked smoking hot but Sam still didn't look at me. I was hot and looked nothing like a 38-year-old would. Not to sound cocky, but I am a gorgeous woman, and Sam was lucky to have me as his wife.
I got to the wedding and I was late. I checked the guest list and saw Judith's name and I got nervous then I saw mine. Judith and I were supposed to sit together. I got in and I saw her and walked towards her and sat down.
"Bride or groom?" she whispered into my ear. Her mint breath bewitching me to fall in love.
"Neither!" I answered with a smile. She looked at my lips as I spoke, "You?"
"Groom's old friend." I then nodded. I did not believe her. She did not seem like she had friends. "Sam isn't coming, is he?" she then asked.
I nodded and she held my shoulder then rubbed my arm.
We then had to make a toast to the bride and groom. I was bored, I knew no one there except Judith, Elisa, and her husband, Tim. I sat there like a chicken left in the cold and felt embarrassed. Elisa approached me, "Hey, Viv! Don't just sit there; get up and dance." I then got up and danced. A romantic song started to play and couples started to dance. I sat down and Judith came with a drink. I took a sip and it was horrible.
"Show a little appreciation, now won't you, Vivian!" she said as she chuckled. "Would you like to dance with me?" my eyes widened with disbelief. I looked at her and she was certain of her words.
"Oh! Of course!" she held my hand and led me to the dance floor.
She held my waist so gently and pulled me closer to her and I got chills. We started dancing and she could tell I was a horrible dancer and she kept trying to show me how to take my steps.
"I don't know if someone has told you, but you look very much charming today." I smiled and was flattered.
"Very much charming, you say?" I questioned her comment.
"I would have used other words to describe you, like stunning, gorgeous, breath-taking, lovely, jaw-dropping, dazzling, alluring, enticing, radiant, ravishing, mesmerizing..."
"Mesmerising?" I continued to question her.
"Well, yes. Should I continue?"
"Of-course."
"You look captivating, beauteous, enchanting, magnetic, desirable, tempting, and bewitching..." and I cut her off.
"Desirable, tempting, and bewitching..."
She pulled me closer, "You keep interrupting me, Vivian... My point is, I could have used beautiful but it was not the right word to describe how you look. You're more than beautiful..." And that was a little rough-hewn, I must say.
"Well, thank you, Judith!" I said.
We continued to dance, her arm around me and conversation about me and what she believed I was.
"You're a terrible dancer, I must say too." she chuckled and I could smell her perfume that smelt quite sweet and I loved it.
"It takes one to know one, don't you think?" I smiled and carried on dancing.
"That's nonsense, I'm not as bad as you." she laughed. "Loosen up, Vivian!" she said while she cupped my face. I loved how she called me Vivian with that accent of hers, made my walls tremble. I did not even remember the last time I danced with Sam.
