POV Sophie

Sophie anxiously fidgeted with her fingers as she sat on the chair in front of the majestic vanity whose mirror was spotless and bordered with crystals. Sophie was wearing a ridiculous outfit she had never thought she herself would ever wear. A long-to-midi dress that was black with slightly puffed sleeves, and had small buttons trail the front of the dress. The tie waist felt very tight, but she was too nervous to speak.

"Hi hon, my name is Laura and I'm going to do your makeup. Cindy will do the hair, 'kay ma'am?"

Sophie nodded. She was definitely not a fan of makeovers and dress-up, but this time, she had to. Besides, she really wanted to impress Fitz Vacker, an extremely popular actor who also attended Stanford. Sophie would always see him in the hallways with his movie-star smile. He probably never noticed her though. Sophie's heart thumped quickly.

----------------------------------------

Sophie had just finished costumes--and had no idea how she looked because she was already late-- so she immediately ran as fast as she could in her high heels. She prayed that her costume was not too bad. She was told to enter the limousine after finishing costumes to get to the photoshoot location, which she was rather excited for.

She reached the last limousine. She opened the door and silently prayed that Fitz would be inside.

"Took you long enough." A familiar voice laughed. But it was not Fitz's. Keefe Sencen. Feeling a little bit disappointed, she stepped into the limo and sat across from Keefe. It was just the two of them-- and Sandor and Ro, Sophie and Keefe's bodyguards. Sandor was the designated driver.

Sophie had wished the person who was sitting in front of her in the same limo would be Fitz Vacker instead of Keefe Sencen, but why was it that every time she glanced at him her heart paced even quicker? Maybe she was just nervous for the photoshoot.

"We're the late ones. Dex, Fitz, and Biana are in the other limo, and they're already on the road to the destination. But what can I say? It's the hair that has got to be perfect." Keefe smirked. Sophie tried to bury her smile, which was already forming.

"You know them well?" Sophie had to ask. Sophie was not very social, despite now having over one million followers on Instagram. Ever since she was little, she was never included in anything, for whatever reason. Maybe it would be the case this time again.

"Ohhhh, you're not in the chat. Here, I'll add you. What's your phone number?" Keefe tapped on his phone, and looked up at Sophie.

"Ah, it's (xxx)-xxx-xxxx!" Sophie answered. Keefe nodded as he typed in those numbers.

"Also, let's friend everyone on Instagram!"

Sophie nodded, but she froze. "I don't know how..." Keefe looked up at Sophie with a confused look. "...how to use Instagram. But my username is sophiefoster."

Keefe smiled. "I'll help you." Sophie handed him her phone, and sat next to him to see how Instagram worked. He showed her how to add people, create a bio, set a profile picture, put something on her story, and post something.

"What do you normally post?"

"Most often, people post pictures of them and their friends. For me, it's the hair. And occasionally odd pictures of Fitz."  Keefe snickered as he showed Sophie his Instagram posts. "Want to try to take one together?"

Sophie nodded. Keefe held up her phone, and they smiled as they took a selfie. "Thanks for teaching me. I've never used social media until recently." She glanced at the photos and put her phone down. She internally smiled. Nobody had been this kind to her for a long time.

"No problem there, Foster." He winked at her. What was this? Sophie's heart fluttered. Maybe it was his perfectly disheveled hair, or how nice he was to her, but for some odd reason, Sophie's face could not stop turning into a bright red when he talked to her, and her heart would not stop fluttering.

"We're almost twelve minutes behind now, is Brielle almost do-" Ro began until someone interrupter her.

"I'm here!" A high voice squeaked. Brielle with her curled light brown hair, glamorous golden dress, and insanely high platform silver stilettos, opened the door of the limousine. Brielle entered the car and stared at Keefe and Sophie. Especially Sophie. "Sophia Fester, can you scoot over a bit?"

Of course she wanted to sit next to Keefe. Sophie felt a twinge of resentment, but she quickly sat back to original seat across from Keefe. "Here you go. My name is Sophie Foster by the way..."

She did not care that Brielle sat next to Keefe instead of her. What hurt most was every time Keefe spoke to Brielle, his face would also seem a little red. And so did Brielle's. Sophie liked Fitz though, right? Definitely not Keefe. It didn't matter at all. They seemed like a perfect pair anyways.

Sophie looked out the window and stared at the busy city view. It already was quite dark, and the lights glowed vibrantly, altogether a sea of colors. It truly felt like home, but in an unfamiliar place.
