Thoughts: This book is the only book I've ever read on Wattpad that really truly emotionally broke me. The writer crafts words beautifully to tell a captivating story about lust, manipulation, love, and lies. This is very much a slow burn, which is the beautiful intensity of it. As tensions build around Estela and Tom, you will find yourself questioning if what you're witnessing is character development, or just another of the many lies they tell one another to keep each other close. This is in many ways a dark story, yet it puts so much into perspective about the black and whiteness of good and evil, love and hate. It gives a context to someone perceived as having no capability for good and if you are like me, when you finish this book you will still be thinking about it months later. I recommend this book with everything in me if you think you can handle it.
