Thoughts: I almost didn't read this book because I'm usually not a fan of how Ron is portrayed in fanfics, however I am extremely glad I took a chance on this one. This book takes the standard storyline of a developing relationship between a loved Gryffindor and cold-hearted Slytherin to a whole new level. The author did an amazing job of staying true to Ron's character, while building a complex character of her own. The dynamic between the two has many layers, and like all love surrounding war, is affected by more than just how the two feel for one another. This story portrays teenage romance in a real light, focusing not just on the best parts of new relationships, but also navigating the trials of discovering young love.
