So currently y/n's on top of me as she's not feeling well, she tells me she fines but you could see it in her face she wasn't doing well.

'Bub want me to take you temperature?' I say while look down at my poor baby [🥺]
She shakes her head no. 'I'm fine really.' 'I thinks it's for the best, after I'll let you sleep okay?' 'Fine' y/n says in a groan moving her head out of my neck.

I carefully take y/n off my chest and walk over to the bathroom connected to my bedroom.
I go and open a cabinet and see no thermometer, I check the others and find one.

I walk back over to my bedroom 'Hey bub i foun-' I stop in my tracks as I hear little snores, seeing y/n cuddled in her blanket she has at the house, her lips parted. Seeing her like this just makes me not want to wake her up, but it's for the best.

I slowly walk over to the bed and bend down so I'm eye level with y/n. I gently put her hair behind her ear. 'Y/n. Princess.' I say slightly shaking her. She opens her eyes and looks at me confused, she starts rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. I look at her in awe.

'What?' She says groggily 'We need to take your temperature, then after we can cuddle. okay?' She nods her head and opens her mouth for me to place the stick in her mouth. We wait a couple seconds and it starts to beep. I look at the numbers and it says 101 degrees. 'You probably just have a cold' I look over to her and see her already cuddled to her white blanket and looking at me.

'Then we can't cuddle' 'Why not?' 'I'll get you sick and I don't want to get you sick' she says. 'Well be sick together!' I smile and I see her smile as well.

Next thing I know is that we're both under the covers y/n on top of me head in my neck sleeping peacefully.

'I'm so lucky to have you bubs, your the best.' I say aloud to myself. Getting comfy ready to join my baby to a peaceful sleep.
