"Love blinds the heart, one second you are happy the next you are hoping things will return to the state you once were happy."

"Wow! I can't believe he didn't show up again! Coming late acting all obnoxious, what a little shi-"
"Tae..."
Jimin was talking to Tae about the encounter earlier. The two have been roommates since freshman year so naturally, they know nearly everything about each other.
Once he was home Jimin decided to tell Tae about his day seeing him it was more interesting than usual.
However, Tae wasn't as... well kind as Jimin. He was a firecracker, always spoke his mind, and was ready to fight any second. Guess you could say opposites attract.
"Jimin I don't get how you can defend him anymore, at least let me say one bad thing about him." Tae grasped his hands together in a praying motion as he begged his roommate.
Rolling his eyes Jimin sighed. "He isn't that bad... just don't say anything to mean"
"He is a little bitch- Ah!" Tae screeched when he felt a sudden pinch on his side. Leaving a pout he knew he didn't follow the other's restrictions. He just mumbled, "what he is..."
"Tae! I said don't be mean! It's not his fault he's just going through stuff..." Jimin scolded the other.
"Fine, but if he ever does anything to you that's when I'm ready to kick some ass." The brunette said as he pretended to throw a fist into the air as if fighting someone.
Tae was majoring in photography and minoring in visual arts. Guess you could say he really loved art. So it made sense that his roommate was a musician.
"Calm down buddy, now help me work on my class assignment please!" Jimin whined.
The two sat on their living room couch, Jimin sitting crisscrossed hummed while he began to think.
"Wait what was your project again?" Tae just asked casually while he turned on the TV.
"I need to write a song, something to represent an emotion. Preferably one that not everyone is picking since I don't want to be basic you know." The musician explained and laughed at the end.
"Okay well, what do you have so far?"
"...that's the thing- nothing!" He sighed in defeat.
"Hmmm sounds like a problem! Anyways the new episode of True Beauty came out so shush." Tae said with a heart shape smile and took his focus back to the TV screen. Jimin of course joined him, but maybe Tae did help after all.

After finishing up watching TV Jimin quickly went back to his room and sat at his desk.
There he pulled out a black journal where his lyrics were all safe together and flipped to a fresh page. Where he would write his theme for the song on in big black letters.
Envy
Watching the Kdrama as silly as it sounded made Jimin envious. He was envious of the love some actors had, and how easy it was to find love.
It wasn't fair. How love was so challenging just because he loved differently. A man could simply meet a girl in a coffee shop and ask her out, but a man couldn't simply ask out another man without the fearful reality that he was straight.
That's the reality. Being homosexual was a challenge. It is hard to find love, hard to find someone to fit your type or age. It was easy to get hurt or have your emotions played with.
