"Know that I love you so bad."

-

Jimin was a performer at heart. Despite his hesitation and fear of absolutely fucking up in front of a quarter of his college-the second he stepped onto the small stage those worries faded. The bright lights and the failure feeling of his guitar resting in his hands felt comforting.

As he sat on the cheap wooden stool the singer heard mumbles and saw flashlights shining bright on him before he could even begin. For the past few days, gossip spread throughout campus like wildfire. Many pitted him while others just felt sympathetic. People reached out to ask if he needed anything, but Jimin had completely isolated himself.

He was like a ghost, until now.

Jin owes me big for this. The boy thought to himself as he adjusted his microphone and tapped it to ensure it was on.

Giving a small cough and leaning into the mic he finally spoke.

"Hello... I'm Park Jimin a Senior from the Music department." The confidence he once had was limited, but as he looked over to see Tae and Jin both giving him wide smiles and thumbs up he simply smiled. "I'm sure some of you have heard about me on campus and if not, I hope you enjoy my song."

The soft melody from Jimin's guitar flooded the room as his fingers danced across the strings.

"Know that I loved you so bad" Jimin hummed softly into the microphone as he closed his eyes.

"I let you treat me like that...I was your willing accomplice, honey"

Jimin wasn't an Idiot, anyone with their right mind would have given up on Jungkook the second they heard he cheated. Yet, a part of him was still stuck clinging to the hope that maybe with some work and some time their love could be fixed.

The only issue was it took two hearts to restore a love story. As of recently, Jungkook's heart was being tossed around the bed to bed at every party on campus.

However, Jimin's voice of reason told him to move on. To let the lyrics of his music speak for themselves as his voice boomed through the silent coffee shop.

"And I watched as you fled the scene
Doe-eyed as you buried me
One heart broke, four hands bloody"

They all knew who the doe eyes belonged to. Jin looked over to Tae as the artist only looked up at his best friend with a sorrowful expression. It was as if Jimin's emotions flooded his own heart.

The crowd was silent as they knew it all. Four hands belonged to the two boys who were once the cutest couple on campus until one was left shattered.

"Those things I did

Just so I could call you mine

The things you did
Well, I hope I was your favorite crime"

It was like a wave swirling in Jimin's chest as he sang out the lyrics of his newly written song. He didn't focus on the crowd or his friends- he simply watched the memories flash through his mind as he realized how much time he wasted.

"You used me as an alibi

I crossed my heart as you crossed the line
And I defended you to all my friends"
