An Unexpected Workout (5sos Fanfiction)

Christina burst open the door with Calum right behind her.

The boys were all still lying in front of the TV but Ashton and Luke were on their phones.

"Where've you two been?" Ashton asked raising an eyebrow suspiciously.

Christina felt blood rushing to her face and knew she'd gone bright red. "Umm" she started but luckily Calum cut her off, "Y'all were asleep so we went down to the lobby, Chris had to ring her mum anyway" He said, like it was no big deal. Wow Christina thought, she was impressed at how naturally he lied, she couldn't tell a lie to save her life. Anyway, Ash and Luke bought it and didn't ask further although Luke looked at them suspiciously.

"Is it okay if Chris stays over tonight?" Calum asked for her.

"Of course, well I don't mind" Ash smiled, "yay we will have so much fun!"

Soon enough Michael was up as well, and of course agreed that she could stay over, there was just one problem, "um, I don't have my pyjamas or anything" Christina asked feeling a little awkward.

"Oh thats fine you can borrow a  shirt or something, come on we'll go find something" Calum suggested, Christina gratefully smiled at him and they made their way to his room.

He closed the door behind them, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm great" she replied plainly, but to say the least she was anxious. She wasn't usually one to hang out with boys all day let alone stay over with them.

He opened the cheap hotel wardrobe and searched in the mess of clothes for a suitable flannel shirt.

He threw her one and she caught it, almost dropping it out of a sudden excited jumpiness, she knew how the 5sos fam always imagined wearing (/stealing their  shirts because they were just so hot!

She tried to hide her happiness and little giggle by asking, "you have any shorts or something?"

"I got workout ones I mean I usually wear jeans"

In the end she just used those shorts.

                        * * * * *

"Guys I'm bored" Ash complained at 9:45, they'd gotten the place ready to sleep (they decided on leaving the mattresses together on the floor, just with extra duvets) .

"We could go to a club" Luke suggested.

Ash looked hopefully at Cal who looked at Christina, "I'm only 17, its another week till I'm 18"

At this point Michael looked up and loudly started singing, "I'm so sick of waiting till I'm 18"

The look on his face as he sung this was so serious everyone had to laugh.

"Well you have to promise you will go to a club with us when you are 18 then" Ash said and Christina pinkey promised to make sure of it.

Finally they decided on just going down to the lobby and getting drinks.

Once they got downstairs the bar was almost empty. If was too late for the pre-going-out-drink, but too early for the proper party people, even the girls from earlier who had looked eager to wait were gone.

"Can I have four, nah wait 5 colas please" Ash asked the bartender, ordering for everyone while the others sat down.

"Hey, Cal help Ash with the drinks would ya?" Mikey asked, nodding his head in Ashton's direction.

Surprisingly Calum actually did and waited Ash for the drinks.

As soon as he'd gone Mikey and Luke turned their heads to Christina.

"Okay, heres the thing" Luke started.

"Calum likes you and you obviously like him" Michael continued,  "don't deny it. We know him well enough okay?" He added

Christina looked shocked but then  sighed and  shrugged, "So what. Nothing will come of it"

"We'll see , just d-" Luke said as the 2 boys came back but quickly shut up.

They stayed in the bar till around midnight just chatting and watching a Liverpool football match (Cal was the only one who payed much attention to it) and then went to their rooms.
