I wake up, again, in my bed. I sit up and rub my eyes. The clock on the wall says 12.

Niall pushes open the door just a bit, "Oh you're awake." He says, stepping in.

"Yeah..Wha-" I stop myself, finding that he isn't looking me in the eye. But down, towards my arm. I follow his gaze, to the wound on my wrist. "I c-cut..?" I whisper, running my fingers over the bandage.

"Be careful." Niall mumbles. Blood stains the once white wrap.

"N-Niall?" I say, looking up. His blue eyes are puddling with worry.

"It's fine Nov, you'll be fine." He states. I look away, down at the floor.

"Can you go..?" I mutter.

"Are you su-"

"Just go." I fall back onto my pillow, pulling the blanket over my head. I hear the door creak closed just moments later.

Niall Horan

I can't help but cry, while trying to explain the situation to Liam. "She tried to hurt herself..?" He asks.

"Y-yeah. Can we j-just drop that. I can't stand it Liam, I can't stand looking at her while she cries. Her heart is broken, and Harry doesn't seem to even care." I shake my head.

"I don't know. Maybe. I'm heading over to his house now with Zayn. I'll talk to you later." We both say goodbye and hang up. I walk back upstairs and open Novalee's door. Her head is still under the covers, I sigh.

Harry Styles

I trudge groggily to the front door and fling it open. "What. Do. You. Want." I sneer at Zayn and Liam. Liam pushes me in the chest so I stumble back.

"What the hell was with you cheating on Novalee!?" Zayn grumbles.

"I didn't mean to. It just happened" I shake my head, trying to just forget.

"It just happened? You had no reason to hurt such a beautiful and amazing girl for the tramp of the night." Liam adds.

"I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" I scream, falling to the ground. I bury my face into my hands. Zayn and Liam kneel down.

"You better spill." Zayn says.

"I've known Cory for years. She always used to come on to me, and we might have one night. Then, Novalee came along and I forgot all about Cory. Then, I was pissed at Novalee and Niall when the tv said they were dating. I know Niall has feelings for Novalee and he has a better chance. They've known each other for how long? So I called Cory to hook up . But it wasn't Novalee, so I left before anything could happen. I hadn't talked to Cory until just the other day when I actually did see her at the store. She told me all about this guy she met, and I told her about Novalee. We hung out like old, old times for like forever. Then, the next day I thought we were just gonna hang again but she came on to me, and I just lost myself in the ways things used to be. You have to believe me, I love Novalee. She's my everything." I wipe the tears away.

"You're just gonna have to try extra hard Harry, you broke her. And you know who's there to pick up the pieces? Niall." Liam sighs.

"Think about that." Zayn shoots.

Then, the two stand up. "We gotta go check on Novalee, bye." Liam announces before they leave. Leave me by myself, crying my eyes out. I couldn't have just lost Novalee, there's gotta be some way to get her back. I have to, before Niall finds a way back into her heart in the way that's meant for me.
