This is just the first couple of paragraphs of the story, kind of like a teaser, so I can introduce the character(s) to you

I can relate more to fictional characters than to real people.

CHAPTER ONE

KIRA

 Hi. My name is Kira Watson, and I love reading. And you know, obsessing over books, characters, authors...the whole thing.

  I know it's pretty ridiculous, but one of my dreams is to have the Doctor come in the TARDIS and then we can go to different places. If you don't know already, TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. I guess the whole thing is kind of like that book by Dr. Seuss, Oh the Places You'll Go. I feel like it could happen though. I mean, it's like those people who are waiting for their Hogwarts letter, or the people who are waiting for a satyr to take them to Half-Blood Hill. Not that I'm not waiting for those things, but mostly just the TARDIS! I mean, those things could be true, because they hide it, obviously. Sadly though, I'm 12 and haven't gotten my letter from Hogwarts, so I've kind reluctantly given up on being a wizard (maybe my letter-bearing owl got lost?), but I do love that my last name is the same as Emma Watson, the woman who played Hermione in the Harry Potter movies! I have brown hair like her, too, and I have soft brown eyes. My hair only goes just past my shoulders. I'm really tall, even though I'm in seventh grade and am twelve. People always mistake me for being twins with my older sister, Luna (yes, I LOVE HER NAME!!), who is in ninth grade. We're not twins, just to clarify, if that seemed really confusing.

 Anyways, the point is, I'm the ultimate fangirl. Besides loving Doctor Who, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter, I love Divergent, and the Hunger Games. So I guess it's not exactly that many fandoms I'm in, more the amount of time I spend obsessing over each one that my friends and sister says makes me crazy.
