We met as planned - back on the stairs of the Olympians temple. Alix and I had gotten a thrilling tour of the TARDIS...it really is huge on the inside. After visiting the library (we could step in the shadows, no Vashta Nerada!), and the swimming pool in the library, we walked down a hallway with framed pictures of each regeneration of the Doctor except one - the War Doctor. I guess that the Doctor really didn’t like that version of himself.
We had gone to the trampoline room, the ‘Doctor Attire Shopping Paradise’ (man, the Doctor has some great choices for each regen.!) we went to the everything room. Not kidding, the Doctor called it ‘the Everything Room’. And there was everything. Pillows, books, yoga balls, teacups, stacks of notebooks, mirrors, doors….
Anyways, we were the first to get back to the steps. From the top, we watched Percy scrambling up the stairs, ducking at one point to avoid a dalek caused laser of smash-i-ness.
“Is Jason here yet?” He asked.
Alix replied, “Nope. He should be coming soon though…”
“How’s Annabeth?” I asked.
“Oh, good. She’s kinda freaking out still...I hope Apollo did his job,” Percy said, muttering the last part.
“Annabeth’s not happy about all the destruction, is she,” I said, guessing.
“Well, of course not, she’s the architect of the place. It would be stupid not to care about all the work,” Percy said reasonably.
“Jason is welcome to come at any time,” the Doctor said, interrupting our small talk.
As if on cue, Jason came rushing up the stairs two at a time.
“Am I late?” He asked, bending over.
“Not at-” I started to say, but the Doctor interjected with, “Could’ve been faster. Either way, let’s see if the Irnia is ready.” He walked over to the doors, holding them open for us.
“Okay. Would they still be in the conference room?” Alix asked once we were all in.
“I have no idea!” I replied. “Jason? Percy?” Jason shrugged, but Percy said, “Pretty sure the other gods would’ve left by now, but...where does Apollo might still be here.”
“Let’s just check before we try anywhere else,” Jason suggested. No one disagreed, so we walked down the now somewhat familiar hallway to the conference room.
I pushed open the door, and there was Apollo, sitting in one the spinny chairs, his feet propped up on the table.
“About time,” He said, smirking.
“Well, sorry,” Percy replied. “So...did you get the Irnia duplicated?”
“It would be really nice if you did,” the Doctor added. Apollo took his feet off the desk and leaned forwards in the chair, as we stepped further into the room.
“You doubted me.”
“Well...not exactly,” Jason said. “More like...wondered whether or not you could do it in time.”
“Well. Whatever the case is, I did it, alright?” Apollo gestured to a giant crate which was sitting on the conference table.
“That’s huge!” Alix exclaimed, walking over to it.
“Uh uh uh. No touchy,” Apollo said, waving away Alix’s hand.
“So, can we see them? Touch them even, perhaps?” The Doctor asked. Apollo shrugged.
