Annae/Hannah
Back to school, urgh! I sigh and shove my hands into my blazer pockets, tilting my head back I stare up at the ceiling, while also trying to concentrate on where I was walking. That doesn't work out well, I turn the corner and smash my head on the door leading to the girls bathroom. I fall over and land on my backside, while clutching my head and moaning. "Idiot."
I stand up and push the bathroom door open, stumbling to a sink and staring at the red lump on my forehead. Ah, that was going to bruise. I turn on the sink and press cold water onto my head, trying to keep the swelling under control. I sigh and hear sniffing coming from one of the cubicles.
"Hello?" I call out.
"G...go away!" Someone shouts back, I recognise the voice and lean against a wall, leaning my head back onto it and crossing my arms over my chest.
"Georgia, come out and talk to me." I say to her, tapping on the door beside me.
Georgia slowly opens the cubicle door and walks out, her lip trembling and her hands bunched at her sides. She looks into the mirror and reapplies her mascara, her hand shaking slightly. I walk up behind her and take the mascara out of her hand, setting it down on the sink and turning her so she's looking at me.
"Talk to me."
"He...he said he didn't have a girlfriend. He said that he loved me, he was dating her at the time. I...I really thought he loved me. How could I be so stupid? He kissed me and we even made plans to go into town today, but he pretended he didn't know about them." Her face crumbles and fresh tears spring to her eyes.
I look up at her with a startled expression and hug her, I didn't know what to do. I had absolutely no experience with crying girls, I'd never cried over a guy and I had no idea what to say. I sigh and let go of her, she wipes her eyes with the back of her hand and washes her face. "We only have one lesson left, meet me by the tree and we'll walk to the bus stop together."
She smiles and her eyes light up slightly, she glances up at my forehead and I cover it with my hand, she rolls her eyes. "What did you bump into this time?"
"Door," I mumble and point to the bathroom doorway.
I see Georgia standing in front of the tree and run down the hill, I stop in front of her and wave my hand in front of her eyes. She looks down at me and smiles, before starting to walk the direction towards the bus station. I shiver slightly and pull on my gloves, it was so damned cold.
Someone calls my name and I stop and turn around to see Charley running towards us, she pauses slightly to catch her breath and then follows us. We reach the bus station and get inside, it would be about 10 minutes before the bus came, urgh!
Georgia stops abruptly, causing me to smack into her back and Charley to smack into mine. I told my head and rub it slightly, groaning at the pain. I glare up at Georgia and see her pained expression, I follow the line of her sight and my eyes hit onto Xavier and his friends. Damon and Jason apart of the group, great. I look back up at Georgia and see the sparkling sheen of tears in her eyes, my open my mouth and shut it again.
"You loved him, didn't you?" I ask her, looking back at the group. I take off my blazer and roll the sleeves of my jump up to my elbows. I hand Charley my bag and my blazer.
"Still do, but he broke my heart." She chokes back a sob and something in me snaps.
"That's all I needed to hear," I shout behind my shoulder.
I walk up to Xavier and his friends, they turn around and Xavier stares at Georgia behind me. Then he smirks and looks down at me, trying to make himself look intimidating. Charley and Georgia walk up behind me and stop a few feet away.
Xavier glances up at Georgia and then down at me again. "She sent you? Does she want me?"
I look at Damon and roll my eyes, before turning back to Xavier and grabbing him by the front of the shirt. "Hurt her again and I will make sure you never breath oxygen again in your life!" I hiss into his smug looking face.
I let go of his shirt and he stumbles back, he regains his footing and glares at me. "What you gonna do, bite my ankles? Your too small to do anything to me." He and his friends start laughing at me, I look at Georgia.
"Xav, I don't suggest you provoke her." Georgia whispers at him.
Xavier glares at her and sneers at me, looking me up and down. "She's like an elf, how's she gonna...?" He hits the floor, his lip split open and his cheek turning a purple colour.
I rub my fist and smirk down at him. "That's how you throw a punch."
I stand over him, legs shoulder width apart and fists on my hips. I smile smugly at his friends and start walking towards the bus, that had just arrived. Charley and Georgia follow snickering at the dazed looking Xavier still on the floor.
Charley
I glance down at the fist Annae is cradling on her lap and give her a concerned look. Her knuckle was split open and blood was oozing down her hand. I pull a plaster out from my pocket and hand it to her, she smiles at me and puts it onto her cut knuckle.
Georgia glances at Annae and grins at her. Even I had to admit Annae looked badass when she hit Xavier.
