I found Violet crying in the hallway and I walked up to her
"Violet, are you okay" I said to her
Violet just looked at me and stopped crying trying to hide her tears
"I know you're actually sad" I told her "Can you tell me what's wrong"
"I'm sorry for crying and making you sad" Violet says with a fake smile
"It's not your fault, everyone has feelings that they have to let out sometimes" I told her to try and make her feel better.
Violet turned to me "Jadyn, I like you"
"I like you too" I responded back to Violet
"I mean... more than friends" Violet remarked
"I like you more than a friend too" I told her without thinking
Then without a care in the world, Violet pushed her lips against mine and kissed me. The whole time I just tasted strawberry and after what felt like forever, we pulled apart
"Finally" Leo said, catching us both off guard
"Leo" Violet shouted "have you been watching us the whole time" she scolded
Violet then started yelling at Leo in Spanish
"I don't understand what you are saying lady, Jadyn get your girlfriend" Leo said, shoeing Violet away
Amaya and Hazel both walk up to us
"I found these two kissing in the hallway" Leo said giggling
Amaya and Hazel also joined in the giggling while me and Violet just blushed
"Vadyn has sailed" Hazel said cheerfully
"Did they seriously ship us" Violet said turning to me
"Yeah, they do be like that sometimes" I laughed
My sister then turn the Violet and said in a stern tone "Better be a good girlfriend to my brother"
"You don't have to worry about that" Violet said making me blush
Then, Leo turn to me with a shocked expression on his face "I just realized, you are dating the teacher's daughter"
"You have my mom as a teacher, yikes" Violent responds "I mean I love her but she's a really strict"
It just feels weird having a girlfriend all of a sudden. Every night I would go visit Horro and talk to him about the Orzo's and find a way to stop them and Violet would just tag along.
"Jadyn, Violet, nice to see both of you in my office, what can I do for you?" Horro asked us
Violet then transformed into a Bruth so she can understand him "We would like to know a little bit more about the Orzo's" violet says to Horro
"Got it, come and sit down and let me tell you" Horror said, pulling out the chairs so we could sit and then continued "Bruth's are very strong, but not very knowledgeable. As they continued to evolve, their planet's atmosphere got worse and worse. The very Planet I used to live on. After we met the Orzo's, we quickly learned how smart they were and realized that they could benefit us, The Orzo's rely on our strength and we relied on their knowledge so for us it was kind of like a win-win. Our leader willingly gave ourselves to the Orzo's Because he thought that we were too dumb to make decisions for ourselves."
"So you guys willingly made them your overlords" Violet said Starstrucked
"Exactly, my race is very stupid" Horro said disappointed
"I don't think you're stupid" Violet said with a smile on their face
"Thanks" Horro said, not taking that compliment "our Masters just call us imbeciles and say we rely on them To the point that we can no longer survive on our own"
"You let them treat you guys like that" Violet said angrily
"If we don't listen to tradition, we would be breaking Bruth law." Horro said with his face down "Most of us wish to be free"
"Those Orzo's are gonna pay for how they treat you guys" Violet said. her fists clenched
"In due time they will, the hero will stop them" Horro reassured
"The hero doesn't even know where to begin" violet said, turning to me "no offense"
"I take full offense to that" I replied to her
"What, you're like a cuddly bear" she said to me back
"I'm not a cuddly bear" I said angrily
" you are cute when you're angry" she scoffed
I felt my face blush, I just never would have guessed those words would ever come out of a Bruth's mouth
"By the way, you're my cute cuddly bear" that comment made me blush even more
We left the office and made it to the hallway when Violet stopped me. I quickly realized she was leaning in to kiss me and I shook my head no and reminded her she was still a Bruth. After she transformed back into regular old Violet, She kissed me on the lips and I tasted strawberry again. Both of us pulled away for a split second, looked at each other in the eyes and kissed me again like no tomorrow
