After awhile of silence and us enjoying the view, a ringing emitted from Levi's back pocket.

Levi quickly pulled his cell phone out and answered it. "Hello?" I wasn't one for snooping but I was curious so I perked my chocolate brown wolf ears forward.

Levi continued to say "yes" and "no" on the phone and a curse word here and there. All I heard was a panicking Hanji on the other end and that followed my a loud explosion noise.

Levi's eyes widened "Hanji?!"

I heard some coughing on the other end and the words that I made out to be "I'm fine."

Levi stood up on the branch "Hanji, you idiot, send Erwin here right now to pick us up," Levi said before angrily hanging up the phone.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Hanji exploded our fucking condo, DAMMIT,"

Levi swiftly grabbed my around the waist and before I could understand what was happening we were swinging through the trees again.

Levi didn't say anything and he had a stern look on his face as we made our way back to the spot they had left us earlier.

When we got there I took a moment to take everything in. Getting caught off hairs on a 3DMG made my stomach feel like it was turning inside out.

"Sorry brat, you okay?" Levi said as I doubled over.

"Yea...," I replied right before a white van came into view, with a loud screech as the driver slammed the breaks. It was Erwin, driving the survey corps vehicle.

"C'mon, Levi, the fire department is on it's way we can't leave Hanji to do the explaining..." Erwin said, jumping out of the van.

I turned to them. Seizing the opportunity to go into the city, the word kept out of my throat "Can I go with you?" I almost regretted saying my the facial expressions I was given after that.

Levi and Erwin turned to each other and Erwin leaned down and whispered something into Levi's ear. Levi nodded then turned to me.

"Fine. Hop in," Levi said.

My tail wagged in excitement and I headed over to the front passenger door. Erwin got back into the drivers seat and Levi sat next to him. There were only two seats.

"Eren, you'll have to squeeze into the seat with me," Levi said looking at me, waiting for me to get into the car. I nodded and jumped into the space next to him. He leaned over me to shut the van door, which I forgot to do. I was new to this. I only knew what I saw humans do.

After the door was shut Erwin started driving off in the direction from which he came from.

My heart pounded erratically. This was the first time I'd get to go into the city. I mean I always could, but it was safer to stray from the attention I'd get for being a hybrid. The government might have even hunted me down and I'd become some poor test subject.

Wait. How would they protect me? Wouldn't people stare as soon as I stepped out of the car? I decided to push the thoughts aside, looking out the window instead. The blur of green from passing the trees at a fast pace. Similar to what I'd see when I ran at my top pace.

Levi scooted around next to me. We were uncomfortably squished side by side due to the lack of room. The foot space was just big enough for me to fit into so that's exactly what I did. I crawled into the foot space, placing my head on the seat. Levi peered down at me.
"Oi, what are you doing?"

"I'm giving you more space," I replied.

He looked at me with his steel grey eyes before he scooted over more into the seat. There was little room for me to lay my head, so my cheek lightly brushed against the side of his leg. I could feel the heat running into my cheeks. I tinted my head to face the van door so Levi or Erwin wouldn't notice. God this was embarrassing.

The view from the van floor was...different. Levi's waist was practically in my face. He didn't pay anymore attention to me. He just folded his arms and looked out the front window. I could sense the uneasy aura radiating off him. He was obviously worried about whatever Hanji did. With no particular view to look at I returned back to my thoughts, right before Erwin slammed the breaks and the back of my head got the back of the dashboard.

Levi, me and Erwin all scrambled out to find quite a tremendous scene that consisted of a burning building, a panicking Hangi, and another Hybrid.
