Mikasa was up until midnight explaining to me how she met Levi in a urban area. She heard of man in town with the same last name as her and she was curious to see if they were related. She explained that just like me and Armin, she was alone in the whole half human situation.

I was the first one to wake up, I mean this was my home and usually like most teenagers I'd sleep in but I couldn't fall back asleep with the excitement of today's activities. I wonder what we would be doing and I was hoping Levi would teach me how to use the maneuvering device.

I quietly left Mikasa in the trailer and poked my head into the 'City of Tents' as I was now calling it. One night and the place was already a mess with scattered papers and equipment. Hanji was passed out among it all. Levi would freak.

I silently crept over to Hanji. I nearly jumped to high heavens when she let out a loud snore out of nowhere. That girl could wake the whole forest in her sleep. I tried not to step on any papers or knock anything over but when your used to have a tail you kinda ignore it and it accidentally knocks over a couple books on the table. Hanji suddenly sat up right, quickly looking around with tired eyes.

"Huh?! What? I'm up I'm up!"
Hanji said franticly.

"U-um sorry, Hanji" I rubbed the back of my head with a nervous smile.

Hanji stretched against the back of the chair and yawned. "It's okay, kiddo. This is usually the time I wake up anyways,"

"When did you go to sleep?"

"Hmm," Hanji checked her wristwatch. "About three hours ago,"

I lifted an eyebrow. She truly was insane. "What were you doing that whole time?"

"Researching this particular forest of yours,"

"Oh," I picked up all the papers on the ground in my reach and put them on a messy stack on Hanji's makeshift desk.

"Ah, you're a darling! I could go for some coffee! Usually I wake Levi up and give him a cup of coffee but I'd really like to spend my morning coffee outside, smelling the fresh air! Will you do it for me?"
One of my brown wolf ears perked up at the thought, the other pointed down in slight fear. Levi didn't seem like a morning person. I had a good idea in my head that if you weren't Hanji or Erwin waking him up, you were a dead man.

Never the less I wanted to be kind to Hanji and I always had the chance to enjoy these beautiful mornings everyday; she didn't.

"Sure," I have a small smile.

"Great! C'mon let me teach you how to make coffee!"

Me and hanji walked outside to the newly set up picnic table where Hanji spend at least 20 minutes trying to explain the process of making coffee and the types of creamers each survey corps member enjoyed. Hanji liked Caramel, Erwin preferred his plain black and Levi took a liking to French Vanilla.

I poured a generous amount of creamer into the steaming, hot mug.

"Great! Now go wake 'em up and give him his coffee and he should be ready to start the day!" Hanji squealed.

I only nodded before disappearing into the 'City of Tents', mug in hand. I walked over to Levi's tent door and quietly unzipped the tent flap.

His tent room was so neat and spotless it amazed me. This guy really did have a cleaning problem. I slowly made my way to his air mattress where he slept.

I awkwardly sat on the edge of it and I sunk into the mattress a bit. Levi immediately spoke to my surprise

"Hanji, for once you didn't rudely jump onto mattress and song that stupid good morning son- " Levi opened on sleepy eye directed towards me "-oh wolf boy,"
