Soundwave looked at the Autobots who only stared back at him. He took out 3 small cassettes and placed them lightly on the ground, immediately they transformed into a purple wolf that gapped her jaws at the Autobots, a blue bird that landed on Soundwave's other shoulder plate, and a purple bat that hung upside down on Soundwave's cervo. The Autobots stared at Soundwave's pets.

"Cool!" Miko was the first to break the silence as she walked up to the bat. "What its name?" She asked enthusiastically.

He pointed to the bat,"Designation: Ratbat."

"What about the wolf?" asked Jack staring into it yellow eyes.

"Designation: Howlback." Howlback looked up at Soundwave and wagged her tail slightly.

"What about the bird?" Raf prompted.

Soundwave sighed,"Designation: Squawktalk." It squawked at its name being mentioned. Laserbeak gave a warning call as he stepped onto Soundwave's other arm.

"It's cute!" Ultra Violet exclaimed petting Squawktalk. Laserbeak flapped at Squawktalk who flapped back. They both fell off Soundwave's arm onto the ground in a flurry of wings. Soundwave stomped his ped and both birds stopped their fighting at once.

"I take it that these are your spies?" questioned Ratchet leaving the scene.

Soundwave gave a curt nod. Both birds tried to land on his shoulder plates but he shooed them away still they landed. He decided to get back to work upgrading the groundbridge.

Soundwave finished the groundbridge by the next two solar cycles. All his pets were on or in his chest, including Ravage.

"Hey Soundwave!" called Miko trying to get his attention. Soundwave ignored her which only made her more anxious,"Soundwave, could I see Ratbat?" He sighed opening his chassis and taking out all his pets, he handed a cassette to Miko which transformed to Ratbat.

He looked back at his work displayed on his visor, keeping an optic on Miko who played with Ratbat.

"Miko, get away from that!"

"But we're having fun! Come on please Bulkhead?"

"Alright, fine. But we can go roll down hill."

"Maybe later."

Soundwave saw an energon spike. He locked onto the coordinates and left to tell Ratchet. Ratchet looked at the his visor,"Optimus, it seems somebot has landed here."

"We must find it. Get the groundbridge ready."

Ratchet nodded and prepared the bridge. Soundwave looked at Optimus willingly but he took no notice," Ratchet come with me, the cybrotronian maybe hurt."

Ratchet and Optimus both stepped through the bridge. Soundwave followed close behind, his pets following obediently. They all came to the crash sight. The ship was a jet black with white streaks across the sides. A mech pushed down the door. His plating white with a few black streaks and a thin yellow line ran across his legs. The mech spotted them quickly and started to fire at the Autobots.

"Stop there!" his voice was gruff and full of hatred.

Soundwave felt his spark drowning in the fear that filled his body.

"Who are you?" asked Optimus.

"I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing with my creation!" he spat.
