The painting in progress was really watched out for, as the girls gathered around Navya to suggest which shade she had to add in which corner.

“Mix the colours in the palette and pick your filter!” she was mumbling.

“Navya, just add a slight tint of pink around the corner, it will enhance the brightness.”

“A pinch of burnt sienna to the trunk, make it darker!”

“Fan brush would help you better!”

Suggestions of these sort flew in despite the fact that no one in the audience knew the elements of painting. But beyond this quirkiness, she managed to complete the piece of art in some time.

“HOW YOU LIKE THAT?” Navya asked after she completed the “Cherry blossom in the moonlight”. She already had a room full of admirers waiting to praise her!

“The silver ‘MOON’ LIGHTS up the mood of EUPHORIA, reflecting the PERSONA of your INNER CHILD! The cherry blossom clearly symbolises the innocent self, the absence of EGO, and if someone says this is “UGH!”, it would be a true LIE”, commented Tanya.

“You prove that you are a worthy writer!” admired Hema.

“I CAN’T STOP ME, Nav! I am waiting for MORE & MORE of it!” exclaimed Siya.

“Truly, art is a BEAUTIFUL OBSESSION!”, Janu acknowledged.

“OH! Though it looks EASY, there is just so much of hard work behind the scenes, mainly while showing the variation between the APPLE tree, WIND FLOWER and the cherry blossom… That is a nice piece of innovation and UTOPIA from your side!”, Janvi chipped her view in.

Shwetha was out of words. She requested, “It is VERY NICE! The colours are JUST RIGHT at the right places! Great job! Can you just sell this ‘CROWN of Art’ to me IF U can?”

“First thank you all for the compliments! I don’t know if it is worth all your words, and I feel I am speaking quite formally at the moment! Anyways, all of my BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS have paid off! MMM… For your offer Swetha, what is the point when it is GIVEN-TAKEN between us! I just put in all my love for the village and just breathed life into it! It is my dedication to the people there!” Navya replied to all of them.

........................................................................

Though their shadowy past peeped into their minds once a while, they just had not much time to worry about the mystery, because they had learnt, and still were learning many things, which had been helping them to earn an everyday living. Though each of them had no formal education as far as they knew, they were into some irregular jobs for paying the rent of the hostel room in which they lived, and invested the rest of the money for their education.

Undoubtedly life was quite tough, but the best thing about the girls was that they did not let any of these things reflect in their daily life. They just did their best to live the life of happy, cheerful life of regular teens. Moreover, the next glorious dawn would mark seven years of their “togetherness”. Yeah, seven years ago, it was on that day that they had been discovered on the rural road.

No one knew what set of incidents lead to that night, but when the villagers found the girls fallen in such a state, they just rushed them to the nearest hospital, where they were diagnosed of MEMORY LOSS. They were found to be unaware of who they were, where they lived or whether there existed any soul on Earth that they could call “family”. But they were immensely grateful for the villagers, who had brought them up to where they were. They visited the village on that day every year, and this year was going to be no different. They had all packed the necessary commodities a day before, and were relaxing now as everyone had requested for leave from work the next day.

All of them assumed that a road accident (a heavy one at that) should have left them spread-eagled that night, but what actually happened that night still remained a mystery to the girls…

........................................................................

After admiring the painting, Navya shouted, “Packing is done Janu! Can we get some snacks please? My mind is exhausted because of the overflowing creativity!”, Navya requested, and all that Janu had to do for her was agree!

They were all so excited to visit the village because the villagers had promised them a gift the next day! “What gift is that going to be?”, the question rung in their minds.
