Maw paced back and forth waiting for what the results would be. "She's going to be ok.." Maw would say to himself but of course, the corrupt thoughts always kept up to his happy ones fairly swiftly. He remained pacing back in forth in the waiting room. He was exhausted and needed to sit down but he didn't. He was too anxious and concerned to sit still. Every time he heard a door open he would look towards it hoping his name would be called and he could see Remote Controller Rin again. But it never happened. He walked up to the front desk and asked how much longer he'd have to wait. The lady at the desk said a few more minutes. Maw nodded and stepped away. He decided to give his legs a break and he sat down on a chair away from everyone else. He was able to rest for 23 minutes before his name was finally called and he could see Remote Controller Rin again. He rushed into the room she was being kept and walked over to the bed. She wasn't awake. She was doing much better though and her breathing had gone back to routine. But she wasn't awake. And this is what disturbed Maw the most. The doctors said she would wake up soon.

Maw sat down on a chair near the bed. Scooting it closer. He heard a faint knock on the door before IA opened it. "Hey... Is everything alright?" IA said while starting to walk towards Maw. "The doctors said she'd wake up soon." Maw looked up at IA. "Well, we can only hope the best," IA replied with a smile, "You should come to get some food though." Maw sighed and replied, "I will soon, don't worry. I just want to stay with Rinny for a little while longer." IA softly smiled and nodded before leaving the room and starting to head to the hospital's cafeteria. Maw stayed seated staring at Remote Controller Rin who laid still on the bed. Maw was still trying to stay positive but it was arduous. Simply glancing for a second at Remote Controller Rin's almost lifeless body made tears swell up in his eyes. He tried to remain calm and hope for the best as IA had said. He was feeling quite hungry but he didn't want to leave Remote Controller Rin's side until she woke up. So he didn't. He waited for hours and hours for her to awaken. But she didn't. The doctors said she would wake up soon. Eventually visiting time was over. Maw didn't want to leave. But he was forced to. He walked into the hospital's waiting room and stood there for a second before leaving entirely. He drove himself home but when he arrived at the house he didn't go inside. He stayed in the car so he could leave as soon as visiting time starts. He stayed awake for as long as he could before falling asleep in the backseat. He awoke multiple times during the night causing him to get terrible sleep.

When Maw woke up be quickly got into the driver's seat of the car and started on his way to the hospital. Almost every 13 seconds he would yawn, obscuring his vision for a small period of time. He drove the best he good, never able to go the correct speed limit. He didn't always fully stop at red lights either. The lack of sleep of finally starting to get to him. Maw kept making wrong turns and thought he would never make it to the hospital in time or in one piece. He wanted to take a nap at every stoplight but kept his eyes open. He didn't need to crash the car he was in. In about 43 minutes Maw made it to the hospital without a scratch anywhere on him. He hurried into the hospital and did his best to act that he had gotten enough sleep last night. He was permitted to head into Remote Controller Rin's room and that he did. He sat down on the chair he always sits in once in the room. He didn't many tears left to cry at this point so he didn't cry except for shedding one or two tears that rolled down in cheek and dripped onto the smooth white floors where it disappeared. Remote Controller RIn hadn't awoken yet and it seemed like she never would. Maw hoped that wasn't the case and did his best to stay positive in the very worrying time that is right now.

Maw was starting to lose hope. He couldn't come to the hospital every day and stay there for who knows how long. He needed to eat something too. A human can only go so long without eating. An average human can only survive 8-21 days without eating, and that's if they're drinking water. Maw wasn't. Dying from dehydration is generally not uncomfortable once the initial feelings of thirst subside. If you stop eating and drinking, death can occur as early as a few days, though, for most people, approximately ten days is the average. In rare instances, the process can take as long as several weeks. Maw didn't want to die because of this, he just wanted to be with Remote Controller Rin until she wakes up. Even if it means almost starving. Of course, if Remote Controller Rin doesn't wake up there always a simple way to be together still. After all, if you lose more than 40 percent of your blood, you will die. This is about 2,000 mL or 0.53 gallons of blood in the average adult. Maw shook away these dark thoughts simply hoping that Remote Controller Rin would wake up and he doesn't need to join her suffering.
