Maw x Remote Controller Rin

Chapter Five

Finally, it was time for Remote Controller Rin to head home from the hospital. The doctors finally said she was ok and ready to go. Remote Controller Rin walked out of her room and to Maw who was in the waiting room. "So what did they say?" Maw said to Remote Controller Rin. She smiled and replied, "They said I could leave." Maw happily smiled when he heard this. Remote Controller Rin walked to the front desk so she could do some things. After a couple of minutes, they were leaving the hospital finally heading home. Maw had called IA earlier to pick them up in the car. They waited outside in the hot sun for a while before IA finally came and drove up in front of them. "Hurry and get in, it's supposed to rain soon," Oreo said from the backseat. Maw and Remote Controller Rin got into the car and buckled in as IA started to drive away from the hospital. "How do you know it's gonna rain? It doesn't say anywhere in the forecast about rain. Plus it's sunny." Maw said looking towards Oreo. "Screw the stupid weather idiots. I control the weather now bishes." Oreo said while smirking. Maw sighed and looked away from Oreo.

IA soon drove up to the house and everyone exited the car. They walked into the house, the door already unlocked, and relaxed in the living room. "Boy, it was sure a long week huh..?" Maw said to try and start up a conversation in the crowd a silence. A few people just nodded but didn't say too much. It was starting to get awkward when Len ran downstairs shouting, "JOIN THE FURBY CULT!!" Everyone turned to look towards Len like he was insane, which he is. Oreo just walked away to his room, ignoring Len and everyone else here in the house right now. Remote Controller Rin walked over to Len and asked, "Do you know where Rin is?" Len nodded and pointed upstairs. "She's in her room." Remote Controller Rin said thanks before heading upstairs and into Rin's room. "Hey Rin, you seemed lonely so I decided to come to keep you company." Remote Controller Rin said as she sat down next to Rin who was sitting on her bed. "Do you actually forgive me? I-I almost killed you.." Rin said looking towards Remote Controller Rin. "But I'm not dead, right? And I don't hold grudges. You apologized and that's all I could ask for." Remote Controller Rin smiled. "Oh, well thank you." Rin smiled with her. "Hey, maybe you wanna play a game or something?" Remote Controller Rin offered.

Rin shook her head, "I think I'll just rest for right now.." Remote Controller Rin sighed but listened to her wishes and left the room. Meanwhile, in Oreo's room, he was laying on his bed staring at the ceiling, "I need good story ideas. This isn't going anywhere.." Anyways, enough of him breaking the fourth wall. Remote Controller Rin walked downstairs and sat next to Maw on the couch. "Welcome back." Maw said with a smile. "... Do you think Rin still hates me?" Remote Controller Rin said while looking towards Maw, tears starting to swell up in her eyes. "I wouldn't say that now. Let's never assume the worst." Maw said, wiping away the small tears running down Remote Controller Rin's face. "You're one to talk.." Remote Controller Rin said moving Maw's hand away from her face.

Remote Controller Rin looked away from Maw but he moved his hand back over to her face and moved her face to look at him. Maw stared directly into Remote Controller Rin's eyes and said, "Rin will forgive you. Believe me." Maw said firmly. "B-But what if-" Remote Controller Rin choked on her words and was shushed by Maw's finger being gently placed over her mouth. "I promise you." Maw said moving his hand away. Remote Controller Rin gently nodded in response not able to say actual words still.

"Would you just kiss already?"

Maw and Remote Controller Rin were both startled and looked towards this new voice. Standing there behind the couch was Miku. "Like seriously, I need a good photo opportunity." Miku said, clearly only somewhat joking. "U-Uh I'm n-not-" Remote Controller Rin couldn't finish her sentence because Miku had cut her off saying, "There are no excuses. Now kiss." Maw just looked at Miku while Remote Controller Rin was busy freaking out and being flustered. "Come on." Miku continued. "Go elsewhere Miku." Maw said with an austere tone in his voice. Miku scoffed but listened and walked away. "Thank you, Maw.." Remote Controller Rin stated while trying to cool herself off. "No problem Rinny." Maw replied to Remote Controller Rin while sweetly smiling. Remote Controller Rin gently smiled with him. Maw patted Remote Controller Rin on the head before standing up and walking to the kitchen to go get some food. Remote Controller Rin smiled as Maw walked away but the smile quickly faded when she was out of sight of Maw.

Remote Controller Rin stayed sitting on the couch. She stared at the wall and her vision turned black, but she wasn't passed out. There was a noise in her head. She stayed staring at the darkness and the noise got louder.

"Go away!"

"Stop!"

"Leave me alone!"

"PLEASE!!"

"It hurts!"

The noise kept getting louder and louder as Remote Controller Rin kept screaming out until the noise stopped and her vision faded to color again. Maw had already walked back and was sitting next to her eating some food like nothing ever happened.

'Could.. Could he hear me?'

Remote Controller Rin continued staring at the wall but her vision stayed normal. She was still scared, worried the noise would come back. But it didn't to her relief. Remote Controller Rin kept staring at the wall until Maw had stood up again and started walking to the kitchen to put away the plate. Remote Controller Rin looked at a clock on the wall and 8 minutes had passed. To Remote Controller Rin only 3 seconds had passed. Remote Controller Rin shook her head and didn't think anything of it. Maw walked back and said, "Hey you good? You haven't responded to anything I asked." Remote Controller Rin looked at Maw and replied, "Y-You were talking? I'm sorry, I guess I just spaced out for a few minutes there.." Maw sighed and nodded to confirm he heard what she said. The two just sat in silence for about 3 minutes before Maw decided to do something. It was risky and he didn't want to ruin anything but nothing was stopping him either. 

Maw took Remote Controller Rin's hands with one of his own and placed his other hand on the side of her face. "I love you Rinny.." Maw quickly said before kissing Remote Controller Rin of the lips. Remote Controller Rin was surprised at first but soon leaned into the kiss. Maw pulled away and immediately said, "Sorry.." Remote Controller Rin smiled and replied, "It's ok Maw.. I liked it.." The two both smiled and blushed at each other.

*In Oreo's room*

"Jesus christu, that took a while. Do you think it's enough words? Wait what am I saying.. Uh.. You can hear me right? The readers? Yes! Hello! Sorry for the slow progress a lot is happening in my life right now and this took about a month to write. I hate writer's block. Anyway, I should stop breaking the fourth wall. Hope you don't mind the very slow updates!" Oreo smiled at you before returned back to his Chromebook to figure out what to write for next time. "Oh, and don't ask where the story is going. That's a secret." Oreo looked back at you and smirked before laughing a small bit and looking back at his Chromebook.
