Maw x Remote Controller Rin

Chapter Six

"RINNY!" Maw shouted as he busted open the door to Rin's room. "I have something to tell y-" Maw quickly stopped talking and slammed the door shut. Remote Controller Rin had been changing when Maw opened the door so she didn't have a top on. "I am so sorry Rinny!!" Maw shouted through the door. "I-It's ok. Just next time knock..." Remote Controller Rin said as she put on a shirt. "You can come in now." Maw slowly opened the door to see Remote Controller Rin wearing a black crop top with black skinny jeans and knee-high black leather boots. Around her neck was a small golden-yellow bow. "Wow Rinny, you changed outfits." Maw said as he stepped into the room. "Y-Yeah... Do you think it looks good?" Remote Controller Rin said while adjusting the bow around her neck. "Of course it looks good! Anything on you looks good." Maw replied smirking slightly. Remote Controller Rin giggled and said, "Thanks!" Maw gazed around the room and said, "Where are the other Rins at?" Remote Controller Rin smiled and replied, "They're doing their things. They don't always spend every second in this room, unlike me." Remote Controller Rin sighed and sat down on Rin's bed. "Hey, is something bothering you?" Maw said as he sat down next to Remote Controller Rin on the bed. "Huh? Why?" Remote Controller Rin responded to Maw as she looked at him. "I dunno you just seem like you have a lot on your mind. And if something is bothering you I would like to know. So maybe I can help." Maw said as he gently grabbed one of Remote Controller Rin's hands and held it in his own.

"It's nothing; I'm perfectly fine." Remote Controller Rin moved her hand away from Maw's and into her lap. "I'll stop asking for now but only because I don't want to start a fight. But just know I'm always here for you." Maw looked at the ground for a second before back up at Remote Controller Rin. "I-I-" Remote Controller Rin was cut off by Fear Garden Rin walking through the door. "Uhh. Is this a bad time?" Fear Garden Rin said while standing in the doorway. "No it's fine you can come in." Remote Controller Rin looked up at Fear Garden Rin. Maw didn't oppose this, though he knew that Remote Controller Rin only did this to change the subject. Fear Garden Rin smiled and walked through the doorway and sat down in front of Maw and Remote Controller Rin. "Soo, how's it going?" Fear Garden Rin said trying to strike up a conversation. "It's going fine." Remote Controller Rin replied while smiling. Maw stayed silent wanting to see where the conversation would go. Fear Garden Rin and Remote Controller Rin continued chatting about nothing important until Maw finally spoke. "Hey, I-" Maw was cutoff by original Rin busting through the door. "IT WASN'T ME!! I DIDN'T POISON IT!! IT WAS-!" Original Rin screamed but couldn't finish her sentence before being dragged away by someone. Everyone in the room immediately got worried. Maw rushed out into the hallway following the screaming. Remote Controller Rin and Fear Garden Rin followed behind Maw. 

The screaming had led Maw into the basement. Maw hurried down the stairs to see the original Rin passed out on the floor. "Rin!" Maw immediately ran over to the original Rin lying there on the floor. He checked her pulse to make sure she was still alive which was kind of counterproductive because if she had died she would have respawned by now. Original Rin was alive regardless. Maw kept shaking original Rin hoping for her to wake up. She was showing signs of life and nowhere near death but not awake either. "Rin.. Come on.. Wake up.. Come on, come on, come on. Wake up dammit!" Maw kept screaming at original Rin to wake up but she didn't. 

"MAW!!-"

Maw immediately turned around when he heard Remote Controller Rin scream but there was only Fear Garden Rin. "Rinny!? Where is Rinny!?" Maw ran over to Fear Garden Rin. "She went upstairs, I guess." Fear Garden Rin sighed. "Then why the hell did she scream." Maw looked at Fear Garden Rin with a serious face. "I don't know. But I do know that original Rin is also gone now." Fear Garden Rin was talking casually. Like this was normal. Maw turned around and, of course, Rin was no longer there. "What the fuck is happening around here.." Maw turned back over to Fear Garden Rin. Fear Garden Rin shrugged and walked up upstairs. Maw, not knowing what else to do, followed Fear Garden Rin. The house sounded so quiet. Fear Garden Rin headed to the kitchen to get a snack. Fear Garden Rin opened the fridge to see there was nothing in it anymore. "That's weird.." Fear Garden Rin said closing the fridge. "What's weird?" Maw walked over to Fear Garden Rin. "The fridge is empty. Heh.. Like my soul." Fear Garden Rin joked. "Seriously.. This is hardly the time for jokes." Maw wasn't amused. "I think it's always the time for jokes. You never know when you might die. Or kill someone and regret it. Gotta make sure to always keep a smile. You know?" For once, Fear Garden Rin didn't seem threatening. She didn't seem on edge all the time. She seemed at peace with herself. "I hadn't thought of it that way.." Maw said with a sigh. 

"Most people don't.. They- MAW BEHIND YOU!" Fear Garden Rin screamed as Maw got hit in the head by a blunt object. Fear Garden Rin stood there staring at the person who hit Maw. They were wearing a cloak that covered their face. "Touch me and I'll murder you." Fear Garden Rin said stepping over Maw's body to walk closer to the cloaked figure. The cloaked figure didn't speak. Fear Garden Rin stared at them for a while before snatching off the cloak and throwing it to the side. "What-" Fear Garden Rin tried saying something but was hit with the same blunt object that was used to hit Maw.

Maw slightly woke up when Fear Garden Rin hit the floor. He couldn't move anything but his blurred eyes. He looked up at the uncloaked figure and said, "L-Len..?" Before passing out again.

About an hour later Maw woke up on the couch. After he regained full consciousness he stood up. "Hello?" Maw said as he noticed a note on the table.

Hello! If you're reading this I'm glad you woke up. When we got knocked out earlier I woke up first and decided to place you on the couch. Hope you don't mind. I don't know who the person wearing the cloak was, but I don't think they're coming back any time soon. So we don't need to worry. I hope you find this letter and no one takes it from off the table. Let's not get the police involved in all of this. I don't like them and they don't like me. Anyway, stay safe. Maw set down the letter when he was done reading. 'Interesting..' Maw thought to himself. "I'm going to be able to find them.. I need to stop worrying." Maw continued talking to himself trying to give words of encouragement. Nothing seemed to give him confidence though. "I can't give up if I didn't even try." Maw walked around the house trying to find the two missing Rins. He was calling their names as loud as he could. No one responded to his cries. He continued searching for almost 3 hours before finally taking a rest. He went to his room and laid down on his bed.

"I'm going to find you two.."

Maw then closed his eyes and went to sleep.
