I looked back and saw Karl, his smirk filling his lips. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, his gaze staring at Liam. Liam sat on his desk, clasping his hands in his lap. He looked at me as if I wasn't his sister, that I was no relation to him. Just another girl that he would sell to an unknown man to get profit for his growing gang.

"You need to leave." Liam ordered Karl. Karl shut the door, leaving was out of the question for him. I knew that Karl was hard headed from what Harry told me and I also knew that Karl doesn't and still won't take a demand from someone like Liam.

My mind quickly went back to Harry, my heart panging with something unfamiliar. Hatred? Maybe.

It was nothing that I could handle, I mean he was the love of my life and I had given all of myself to him. He used me for a stupid reason and I was love blind to everything. Stupid reasons made me really think of Harry as someone that wanted to change for the better. But Harry did mouth something that made me even more confused.

Don't worry.

How am I supposed to not worry? My head was beyond pounding, my blood pulsing in my vains. The beat of my heart was in my ears, tears threatening my eyes.

"Do I? You don't remember anything about what we talked about the other night?" Karl asked, his brow raising. Liam looked at him blankly, not saying anything. "Oh of course, you were bloody drunk. You signed something, I believe."

Karl walked up to Liam, passing me swiftly. His hand squeezed my shoulder knowingly. Was he going to save me, or be the man I will be sold to? I hoped that it was the first one, I couldn't live with myself if I was sold to Karl. My hands were shaking, my hair brushing my bare skin. The air in the office was still with awkwardness, hatred and confusion. Everything was richly decorated, dust no where to be seen. Perfectly placed was the furniture and i was pretty sure that Liam hadn't done it himself. Had he bought a woman or even a girl to satisfy his needs? If so, where was she? Was she ok?

I hoped that he hadn't laid a hand on a girl, but it wouldn't even surprise me if he had.

"I never sign something if I am drunk, Karl. You must not know me very well, I believe." Liam's cold glare penetrated Karl as Liam spoke, his knuckles turning white from his grip on his wooden desk. Karl reached in his pocket, making the guards and Liam's men freak out.

"Please. Control yourself." Karl barked. The men glared at him, obeying his order. The men settled back to there position, half of their emotionless eyes watching my every move. I avoided any contact with them, knowing if I had I would get into trouble. I hated the feeling of being so vulnerable, like a piece of meat to a man that hadn't eaten anything in days. I gazed out the window, the sun shining through it lighting the room up immensely in a dizzy state. I closed my eyes and imagined me in the forest, laying in the warm sun, my skin tickled by the luscious green grass that would capture around my body.

"Let me see the incredibly stupid agreement." Liam sighed, not a shred of care in his voice. I opened my eyes and watched Karl give Liam the folded paper. Liam snapped it open, his eyes scanning the words. His lips twitched, his brows turning down in confusion. "I did not sign this!"

"Yes, Liam. You did." Karl pointed to the signature and smirked to himself.

"I did nothing of the sort! How dare you lie to me!?" Liam bellowed. Liam got up and slammed the paper down on his desk, his feet carrying him quickly to the other side of his desk to get away from Karl, I suppose.

"You did." Karl said, his voice calm as the ocean on a summer day. "Your men even watched you sign that agreement, is that right Brian?"

Karl looked over at one of the guards. I turned my head, my eyes taking in his appearance. He wasn't much older than myself, his brown hair pulled into a bun. "That's right, sir." Brian replied, clearly uncomfortable with this situation.
