KIAN'S POV
I got out two Pepsis and handed Lex one and we walked back into the living room.
"That's Melanie, Olivia, Chloe, and Tatyana," I gestured to each one of the girls. They all exchanged hellos and we took seats on the floor, next to Caroline and Sam.
"What movie are we watching?" Lex asked before taking a sip of her Pepsi.
"The Conjuring, I believe." I responded.
"Cool, I love scary movies." She said. This girl was different, in the best way... I smiled at her. She smiled back and looked at the TV, waiting for the movie to start.
"I hate horror movies..." I heard Caroline complain. Ugh. That girl is so bitchy today. I bet she's not usually like this. It's probably that 'time of the month' but I don't care to know. That's Sam's problem.
"It'll be okay, I promise. You have me to protect you." Sam said trying to look tough in a funny yet serious way. Ugh so lame but yet so smooth. I wanna try that. But Sam just used it. Lex probably heard it being as though she's right next to Caroline. And she didn't look too scared anyway.
Ricky set up the movie, which seemed very hard being as though he had his arms around Melanie the whole time. JC and Olivia were making 6 bowls of popcorn, one for two people. Chloe and Connor were getting blankets and pillows and such so everyone could be comfortable.
Soon, the main menu was up on the TV screen, JC and Olivia were giving out the popcorn, and Chloe and Connor were handing out blankets and pillows. Tatyana turned off the light and the movie began.
Lex did not look scared one bit while watching the movie so I had no motive to be smooth and comfort her. Sam had every motive though, with Caroline, and certainly took advantage of it. Same with the other guys but they wouldn't really need a motive anyway.
"Well that was mortifying... Thanks..." Caroline said after the movie with her head on Sam's shoulder. She was pratically all over him. Like damn kid needs to breathe.
Lex rolled her eyes. "Caroline we should go. It's getting late and we still need to set up furniture."
"You guys need help?" Sam said "You could use some manly men like us to help." Sam said flexing his muscles. Caroline nodded and giggled, getting off of Sam.
"I'll walk you to your car," I said to Lex. She nodded and we both walked out of the house.
"Thank you, seriously." Lex said smiling "I know Caroline is kinda a bitch at times but I swear when you get to know her, she's chill."
"I hope so. And you're welcome." I smiled down at her. Then I did something I wanted to do so badly but not at the moment.

A/N OOOHHHH CLIFF HANGER
Idk why I did that tbh that was 1) Mean 2) I hate cliff hangers so I'm basically being a real hyprocrit. I apologize but I thought it would be great here.
I'm not updating tomorrow definitely. I have a really busy day. I have school, volunteering, then I'm going out for my birthday. On top of that, I'll probably have a sh*t ton of homework. So if I have time tomorrow, I will stack updates. If you do not know what that means (Which it's a term I use other people use differently as well), it's like making updates before you post them just in case you don't have enough time one day to write a whole chapter but you can still update. It's also good if you have a good idea going but don't wanna update twice in one day.
So yeah.
I have to go to bed. Night loves.
