Alexis POV:
After my rude exit out of my hell hole I called home for 18 years, I went to go pick up Caroline, whose house was only 2 streets down from mine.
I stopped in front of her home and beeped. The door opened and out stepped Caroline waving goodbye to her parents. Unlike me, she was the oldest in her family, so her parents didnt baby her. She was treated fairly for sure but she was aloud to go to parties and such whenever she was invited to one. One time, I snuck out of my house to her house and stayed there for the night. Her parents didnt mind obviously. But once my parents went up to my room and saw I wasnt there, they did. They called Caroline's parents immature for not calling them when I arrived to make sure it was ok and said they probably did drugs and shit. Then when we got home, I got grounded and wasnt aloud there. But that didnt stop me.
I opened the trunk from the button for her to put her stuff in. Once she did, she sat in the front seat next to me.
"Hey gurllllll heyyyy," she said
"Ayee baee," I said "Now let this California Make Dreams Come True Roadtrip BEGIN."
"Damnn thats a long title."
"I know that now LEGOOOO." And with that, we started the days worth of driving to get to our new home.
