SO I SAT DOWN AND FINISHED THIS CHAPTER AND I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF. Sorry for keeping you all waiting, I had a writers block for this story. Then all of the sudden I was like, "WAPPAH!" and all of these ideas and dialgue came to me. Yeah.
Also, if you read the Hunger Games, you know that the book is separated into parts. Well, I've decided its easier if I put this in parts, so this is Part Two: The House. (Hunger Games is so good, btw. Book's better than the movie.)
Dedicated to AGirlNamedJessy, she's a new reader. WOHOO!
So. . . thats it. ENJOY!
" Oh god, I just love these french fries," Tiger said as she stuffed another french fry in her mouth. I just watched from the mirror in the car, a faint smile on my lips as I dug in my bag for another fry.
"Damn, babe," Louis said from beside her. "Save some for me, would ya?"
Tiger stuck out her tongue at him before she put another french fry barely in her mouth and lent to him. He chuckled and met the french fry with his own lips, taking it with them before they kissed.
Harry, who was also in the backseat met my eyes through the mirror. I made silent gagging noises indicating my feelings for the couple's fry sharing kiss, and we both giggled.
"What are you guys being all giggly about?" Louis asked, and I looked away from the mirror.
"Oh, nothing . . . " To avoid any more questions about our outburst, I fumbled around my bag for a chicken nugget before holding it out by Justin's mouth, who was currently driving.
"Thanks babe" he said while gently pulling the nugget out of my hands and eating it whole.
"So when are we gonna get there?" I asked him, turning my attention to the outside. There was trees everywhere, and it reminded me of my dream. It was so weird, it wasn't even me in it!
"In about five minutes," he answered, and I sighed. This was going to be a long "vacation," I could tell.
Five short minutes later, we were on a dirt path. Justin said tat this was leading us to the mansion where we'd be staying. I couldn't believe that not only were we spending the day in here, but we were also spending the night. The boys thought it would be cool, but I, along with many of the other girls, thought it was downright creepy.
Suddenly a mansion appeared into view. There was unkept grass keeping the front yard occupied. The mansion itself looked really bad, with dirty, boarded up windows. the whole thing screamed "abandoned!"
Great.
Justin's range rover parked in the weeds, the other rental truck carrying the rest of everyone parking just behind us.
"Tori?"
"Yes Justin?"
"I know you don't really wanna do this, but at least try to like it? I'll feel really bad if you don't have at least a little fun."
I looked at him and managed a weak smile. It meant a lot to me that he wasn't being a dick about me not really wanting to come. Actually, Justin just wasn't a dick in general. He was just a nice person, Pattie raised him well.
"Okay, I'll try just for you." I leaned over and pecked him on the cheek before hopping out of the rover. Everybody was getting out their stuff and I did the same, going to the trunk and pulling out my suitcase.
"I don't have nice feelings about this place," Addi said as she stopped next to me. I patted her on the shoulder comfortingly.
"It'll be okay, promise."
"Ooh, looks scary" Harry said as he got out his suitcase. He had an adorable grin on his face, his dimples showing. "It's gonna be a fun night."
"The owner said that the front door is unlocked, so we can go in," Justin informed us.
"This is crazy," Rose said, making Niall grin.
"Believe it. We're crazy people."
Saoirse ran her fingers through her hair as her bag fell by her side. "Is it too late to turn back?"
"Sadly yes," Addi answered.
"Are we just gonna stand here all day, or are we gonna go in?" Johnny was complaining, making me send him a sharp glare that he didn't see. I don't know why Harry was even friends with this boy, the more I interact with him the more I see he's a jerk.
Justin appeared beside me, grinning. "Then let's go."
So were all carrying our things to the creepy house, and my eyes scanned the area around us. It was a forest, just like the one in my dream. A small shiver ran down my back, but I dismissed it as nerves. There was no way this could be the same forest that was in my dream. The dream probably meant nothing.
Right?
Not the longest and not the most interesting, but it's something. Vote and comment? Fan me if you haven't already? You guys may or may not know, but I do read your comments and they make me smile <3
