Sora was just a one knock away from death, to say the least it did frighten Kusuo to think that he wouldn't have even been there when she died. The thought would cross his mind but he was always with her so the male didn't think too much of it, Sora was more out of touch since the incident and Kusuo couldn't blame her though, when he heard what happened from the doctors he was beyond angry. Her father would come sometimes to see how her progress is doing but even though Sora was more then awake she refused to think or open her eyes so Kusuo truely had no idea what was happening in her mind until he asked her a question.

'Are you scared?'

Sora was more then ready to face death, she could care less. However, having Kusuo beside her did change her mind a little despite her not admitting it Sora didn't want to leave just yet. The incident with her step mother didn't scare her per say, Sora just realised how fragile she really is and she hates it more then anything especially if that was the way she was going to die.

'Of what?'

'How you might die?' Kusuo watched as Sora opened her eyes to stare at the ceiling

'My body is more fragile then I originally thought, I can not escape death and if that was how I was going to die......then I would have been okay with it'

Silence.

'Why?'

She blinked, surprised by his questioning.

'What do you mean why?'

'Why are you okay with dying like that?'

'I'd rather die now then wait any longer, it's getting annoying'

'What about your bucket list?'

Silence, again.

'It was stupid to think that I might have actually been capable of completing it'

Sora closed her eyes, already annoyed by the world once again. Kusuo continued to examine her figure as she laid in an statue like state, the door opened quietly revealing a doctor who called Kusuo out.

'Sora isn't improving what so ever, after the incident her levels are going down even faster'

Kusuo knew that this day would come, he just didn't want to believe it.

'She won't last much longer'

There it was, Sora's reality and what Kusuo must face by staying by her side. The doctor was upset since he's been the one treating Sora ever since she was moved to the hospital, she was and still is an interesting patient that he's never seen before but he just like all the others he's taken care he treated Sora just the same.

'Kikiuchi Sora' The doctor gave her a small smile but she just stared at him before opening her mouth

'Do you know what's wrong with me?' He furrowed her eyebrows at her question

'Pardon?'

'They all say different things, do you know why I'm like this?'

'We will eventually' She went silent

'I'm Doctor Naoya, we'll do everything we can to cure you'

'Okay'

He was curious about Sora especially with the fact that her father barely ever came and when he did, he would never see Sora. He never pressed any question on her so he kept his curiosity to himself, but Sora knew better.

'My parents divorced when I was younger, my mother left, my father remarried apparently, so he's spending all his time with her or at work and my grandmother doesn't like the hospital'

'O-oh, I'm sorry'

'Don't, you had nothing to do with it' She looked back at the tv as he nodded and did more test on her

The doctor sighed as he looked at her sleeping figure, he estimated that Sora would probably last no more then two weeks. He didn't want to see her in anymore pain and he knows that Sora was more then ready to let go, the pink haired who showed up perked his interest since he didn't leave Sora's side unless he had too. He's glad that she had someone in what will be her final moments on living.

'You did very well Sora, I'm sorry I couldn't do better to help you but you were a fantastic patient' He bowed and left the room quietly not noticing Sora opening her eyes to stare at the ceiling once again

'Thank you for trying your best and taking care of me Doctor Naoya'
