A woman with straight black hair passed Kusuo who didn't pay attention to her until he heard her thought.
'Sora, I'm coming'
He whipped his head around only to find that she had disappeared into the crowd but he knew where she was going, the male kept up a slower pace then her making him arrive moments before she stepped into the room. The female shut and locked the door behind her only leaving suspicion to rise.
'Sora. Don't die on me!' He unlocked the door quietly and hid in the shadows as the woman sobbed her heart
'Sora's mother I believe'
'I'm sorry for leaving you baby, I really am. If only I would have been able to leave work sooner then I would have been able to have a real conversation with you. Hold on please. I know that there's probably nothing keeping you back but please hold on for a little bit longer baby. I don't want you to go so soon'
'Why do you want to keep me here? I can't do anything' His eyes widen in surprise at the clear voice
'Mum. Don't do this to yourself, it was already a nuisance when I was admitted into here. I'm too fragile and now I can't even move anything but my eyes. Let me go please'
She wanted to go.
Sora never wanted to stay.
Kusuo shook his head at her leaving the world, somehow feeling saddened by it. He ran a hand through his pink hair while thinking.
'I need to get a grip, she means nothing to me. Oh good grief' Her mother rubbed her eyes and walked out
Kusuo locked the door behind him and looked over to see Sora's eyes staring at the city, the bright lights were shining along with the stars. He could tell that Sora wanted to cry but she didn't and instead closed her eyes to try and forgot about everything around her, forgot about her family drama, forgot about being in the hospital, and forget about the pink haired male who visited but said nothing. He makes Sora confused, they don't hold anything towards each other and she finds him as just another nuisance to try and keep her from leaving.
'I hate this world'
'Me too Sora-san, me too' She fell asleep as Kusuo picked up his phone that beeped quietly
Missed calls, missed texts, he rolled his eyes at them and tucked his phone away to look at her again. She looked peaceful, she didn't have any worries when she was asleep, she could dream about whatever she wanted while forgetting about the events in her life.
She could feel free.

Kusuo blinked and looked around noticing that he's standing outside the hospital, he furrowed his eyebrows upon not hearing anything before entering the building yet when he reached Sora's room a voice was heard.
'Locked-in syndrome and allodynia?' He opened the door to met with Sora who has white hair, he blinked in surprise
'Saiki' She says with an upsetting tone
'Why are you here?' He shrugged
'I don't want you here, you'll hold me back' He looked her up and down
'Hold you back from what?'
'Dying'
