Sora held no memories of the unfamiliar room at all, when she had awoken from her paralysed state she was told that this was once her home before she was moved to the hospital. An older woman sat in a chair by her side while gently smiling at her, Sora had no idea who that woman is but she was told that it is her grandmother and memories popped up however it was just the bare minimum. Her grandmother seemed like a lovely woman as she would sit with Sora in silence or whisper things back when the young girl asked. Her father bit his lip as he walked past the room, his wife sat on the couch angrily and he's more then glad that Sora can't remember who she is actually is.

While Sora had moved and was made to call the hospital her new home, her father divorced her mother and remarried but as expect Sora has no memory of her either. Her grandmother has said that it's just her step-mother and that her mother left a long time ago but when she heard about her daughter being hospital the woman raced all the way to Japan but she never saw Sora awake. Her mother couldn't forget what her own daughter looks like but when she saw all the wires hooked up to her as she laid lifeless on the hospital she couldn't take it and collapsed on the ground sobbing. The step-wife was annoyed that she even had to come and got angry saying that she wasn't even her daughter since she left them. Her mother's flight or fight mode activated and her father really wished that it was flight that day.

The angry woman got up and stomped out of the house purposely slamming the door shut making tears well up in Sora's eyes, her grandmother patted the bed lightly also afraid to touch her which Sora responded in small whispers. At some points when her voice is too weak Sora would tap on the bed to conduct something similar to morse code and when her body is in too much pain the she would whisper lightly, her family couldn't understand sometimes and often forgot just how serious her condition really is.

The day passed into night as her father had sat besides her after guiding his mother/Sora's grandmother to bed, his wife still had yet to return and he simply sat there as his daughter's chest rose up and down softly with eyes closed indicating that she's either falling asleep or is asleep. He wished that he could hug her, he wished that he could give her his comfort, he wished he could tell her just how much she means to him as a daughter. Her father was never very affectionate and often would express it in strange circumstances, that often circumstance would be gifts instead of proper love. One just wanted the gift of love while the other wanted the gift of money.

Sora's father had been blinded by her kind words and fake personality which gave her the chance to wrap him around her finger, he didn't listen to anyone because his love for her was too strong but with his child being in the house he's slowly realising what type of person she really is. The woman shivered as she entered the cold room and quickly shut the door with a loud slam, Sora groaned at the shock that went through her body as she stepped closer.

'You're ruining my chance of a happy life!' She spat but Sora didn't respond causing her anger to level

A scream pierced through the house causing her father to quickly run towards Sora room, his mother called the hospital in both worry and anger. He saw his wife press herself into the wall as a red Mark showed up on Sora's wrist, the machines were going crazy and her father turned to step mother in anger.

'WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?'

Sora screamed again.

'SHE'S RUINING EVERYTHING WITH HER STUPID FAKE CONDITION'

Another scream.

'DON'T TALK ABOUT MY DAUGHTER LIKE THAT'

Again.

'JUST LET HER DIE'

Silence.

Locked-in Syndrome

Locked-in syndrome (LIS), also known as pseudocoma, is a condition in which a patient is aware but cannot move or communicate verbally due to complete paralysis of nearly all voluntary muscles in the body except for vertical eye movements and blinking. The individual is conscious and sufficiently intact cognitively to be able to communicate with eye movements.

Allodynia

Allodynia is an unusual symptom that can result from several nerve-related conditions. When you're experiencing it, you feel pain from stimuli that don't normally cause pain. For example, lightly touching your skin or brushing your hair might feel painful.

Kusuo found it.

His mind can finally be at ease.

Yet, whenever his mind drifted off it would always go back to the female who laid in the cold hospital room on the bed she's paralysed to. Even with one side of his conscience finally being satisfied with the information he still felt strange, the male let his feet guide him towards the hospital where Sora laid with closed eyes. He sighed and sat down on the chair beside her before closing his eyes and crossing his arms.
