Truth

The water was splashing my face and bear is pacing next to me all I can hear is the scream of Twig as Luka tries to fight the current to shore. Finnaly he drags the shivering pup to shore he's on the other side of the stream where the FogForest pack territory is. "Quick you have to get back over here!" I yell to them he gives me a sharp nod, then friskly walks to the shallow part of the stream, he then takes a big leap into the water *splash* to small to make it all the way across, he slowly and carefully treds through the water "ahh!" he yells the pump now on his back just a few inches smaller than him my ears perk up in worry, "are you okay?" I ask with a worried tone he climes out of the water soaked. "I stepped on something" he says holding is paw above the ground. I take a look and my eyes widen as I see a red paw where his usual white patch is. "How bad is it?" He asks "um umm it um its not bad..." I say stuttering my ears flat and tail wagging slowly. His ears pull back "your lying to me." He says with pretend hurt in his voice. "N-n-no I'm not" I stutter he fake whimpers "co-come on we need to get back" I say "are you changing the subject on me" I shake my head and walk ahead of him to avoid more conversation. *crash* I quickly turn my head to the sound and see Twig standing next to Luka who is breathing heavily and whimpering. I walk over and hoist him up "can you walk?" I ask twig he nods and does a little circle "good walk ahead with your friend." I order and he does as he was told we slowly walk until we get to the com (A/N: com is the center area where the food and medic den is its also where everyone hangs out) "go find your parents and explain what happend" I tell Twig and Bear then I walk towards the medic while supporting Luka "whose there?" Margaret says "its me, Lilly" I reply "This is Luka, he's from the FogForest Pack... he got hurt while saving Twig from the stream." I say trying not to give her a bad vibe. "Alright let me have a look." She says and he puts his paw forward, I nudge his paw upright with my snout and he winces "eash this is pretty bad" she says and Luka gives me a look saying I told you so "I read you like a scent." he mutters I roll my eyes "can you patch it up quick? My mom is expecting us." She let's out a quiet low growl and quickens her pace bandaging up his paw. "Eek" he winces again I chuckle at his reaction and he glares at me "alright all done" Margaret states and sets his paw loose he pulls it back and shakes it. "Okay come on its a long clime for a weak pup." I say jokingly as we start walking out he let's out a low growl but then cuts himself off "guess you'll get tired then." He jokes I roll my eyes cause I dont have a comeback and watch the birds fly overhead "race you there then well find out whose the week one!" I say giving myself a head start "hey! Thats not fair!" He yells to me we reach my cave him just a few inches behind and breathing heavily "told you, you are weak." I tease and he growls at me "oh your here Finnaly" my mother says "what happend to your paw are you okay?" She asks noticing his bandages "uh ya I'm okay just hit a sharp rock." He replies "actually Twig fell into the stream again and Luka saved him." I say my tail wagging vigorously "again!?" My mom says "we seriously need to get a leash on that pup" "or some floaties" Rex jokes and I laugh "not a bad idea" Luka says from behind me "thanks for not killing me ma'am" Luka says "its Zuara, call me that. I wouldn't have them kill you not endless you threatened one of my babies." She says in a cooy voice ruffling my fur on my head I feel my face heat up like crazy. "Moooom" I beg "you got your pin back? Where did you find it?" Me and Luka's ears flatten and our eyes go wide "umm well the thing is." I try explaining and give a look to Luka he gives me a nervous nod and I continue "The truth is Luka is my friend we hangout by the boarder often and-" he cuts me off "and she dropped her clip today so I went to get it and was caught by your patrol." He finishes for me trying to keep me out of trouble I assume "I'm going to let it slide this one time, because my daughter seems to really like you." My mom says "And because you saved one of our packs life you can come here whenever you would like." My ears perk up and so does his "Really?! Thank you so much!" I do a few spins and a jump of happiness and he sits back and laughs at me. "Hey now we can play tag." He says "not till that paw is healed" I bark "aww come on thats just an excuse cause you know you'll loose." He teases "I'm ganna bring you home." I say rolling my eyes "oh I wanna come!" Rex begs "alright go on." Mom says he yips and follows us "race you to the bottom!" Luka calls out as he runs down the twisted path I jump off the side and Rex follows we land on the path below a couple of feet ahead of Luka and we dash off down the rest of the path skidding to a stop before the kill pile "come on slow poke!" I howl at him and I hear a faint growl from in the distance. "Awwoo~ where is he!" A long loud howl in the far distance comes, I sense its from the FogForest pack looking for Luka "come on we need to hurry up!" I say quickly then I rush towards the river as Luka catches up once I get there I see 3 patrol on the other side looking for Luka "quick Luka hide there." I say pointing to a rock just as he puts his tail down the patrol looks over "hey you get out a here!" The FogForest patrol barks at me.
