A review of Ricky Montgomery

Now, what can I say? Cabo is my utter most beloved song from this album.

It may be the shortest song in the album at 2:18 in length however, the vocals, the back singing, the music and the entire vibe is just amazing.

The annotation of this song is said to explain the description of a secret and possibly toxic relationship between the narrator and a girl.

The lyrics:

'I think I've found a place for us'

Explains that the narrator has found a secret place for him and the girl to meet secretly.

My favourite lyrics are:

'And I cannot say a word to you like this,

But I gotta resist.'

Which explains how because the relationship is secretive they have to keep it on the low even though they are so in love.

The song touches my heart on a very personal level which is probably why I'd rate this song a 10/10 on the rating. I love everything in this song, from the actual song itself to the meaning behind it.
