Chapter 14: You Will Forever Be In My Heart

Crystal tried running faster but the shaman was catching up to us fast. As soon as he was up to us, he hops off his horse and got in front of me and Crystal. "Son, you have to go back home with me no matter what. I won't let you go with this dragon." He says aggressively. "Cheenou, if you go with him, I won't see you again and I will never be able to see you again. Please don't leave me like this." Crystal says as she starts to cry on my shoulders. I look at Crystal then back at the shaman before saying. "I'm sorry but I won't go back, no matter what. I'm staying with my girlfriend here. She was the only girl I ever loved and she was here for me ever since I was 18 years old. She cared and helped me so much. I owe my life to her. No matter what, I'm not going back." I say. The shaman sighs and says. "If you're really not going to listen then I will have to do it by force!" He summons his magic and takes out his sword throwing some sort of power at Crystal but Crystal also summons her own powers to block it. The shaman then charges at Crystal with his sword as Crystal pushes me aside and fights with the shaman. Watching them fight made me feel scared and worried for Crystal, I didn't want her to get hurt. "Crystal!" I yelled. Crystal summons some backup to fight off the shaman as she runs to me and grabs my arm before running off again. We both ran and ran but the shaman caught up to us kicking Crystal onto the ground threatening to kill Crystal. But as soon as he raises his sword up, I jump in front of Crystal. "Wait! If you're gonna kill her then kill me too!" I scream. "Son, I understand that you two love each other very much but no matter what, she's a dragon and you're a human. You two can't be together no matter what. It is against the heaven rules. You have two choices, either come with me and never see her again or see her die." The shaman says. Upon hearing this, I felt my heart beginning to break as my tears started flooding down my cheeks. I then took a look at Crystal and seeing that she was also crying. I couldn't bare to see this, I love her so much that seeing her cry and in pain makes me want to die. I slowly walk towards her and say. "H-hey Crystal, I'm deeply sorry but I'm afraid I won't be able to stay with you anymore. You were like an angel to me and you helped me when I was about to lose my life. When I didn't want to live anymore, you were there for me and made me feel loved. Thanks for everything you've done for me. I will always remember that you are my lifesaver. I'm sorry that at that time, I forgot who you were. I will always keep you in my heart until the end. I love you, Crystal." I say while crying my eyes out. Even when she cries, she looks so beautiful, I just want to stay with her forever but I can't even do so. "Cheenou, thanks for giving me your love and thanks for making me part of your life. I've been with you ever since you were a little kid. I cried and hugged you. When I saw you crying, I loved you so much. Even until now, I will still love you. No matter how long I will have to wait for you, I am willing to. If you ever miss me then come back to this river. I know you love me, that's why you chose to leave me just to save my life. That already means so much to me. I love you, Cheenou." Those were her last words before the shaman took me away and took me back to reality. A couple years went by and I never heard or seen Crystal. I finally decided to get married to the girl my dad wanted to replace Crystal with. The shaman then told me that the ball Crystal gave me back then was not an ordinary ball. It was a dragon ball which will bring anyone good luck and money. I finally know that the reason why my dad found me and I got a successful life now was because of the dragon ball that Crystal gave me back then. Even when me and Crystal separated I still kept the dragon ball with me. Every time I miss her, I look at the ball again and again wishing she would pop out somehow. I am now 56 years old and married. I have 4 kids now and now I'm becoming a grandpa living a successful life so far. My kids are already married and living a good life. But no matter how good my life is right now, I will always remember and miss that one girl that I love very much. Crystal, she will always be in my heart until the end. Now I am just waiting for the right time where I can be with Crystal and Grandpa Va. I have so much to tell them both and have so many questions to ask them. Also I also want to let my wife know that I also love her too. Maybe there are days where you wish I would love you a lot like Crystal and treat you better. I know I wasn't the best husband to you but I'm also happy you bore our 4 kids and took care of them well. 

                One day my family and I went to the park because it was my son's birthday. After a whole day of partying and eating, I decided to go on a walk alone by the river. I heard a familiar voice calling my name. "Cheenou ah!" I thought it was my wife so I turned around and answered "Yes honey?" But to my surprise. It wasn't my wife or anyone in my family. It was a girl. That girl had a long white dress, long black hair, green eyes, and a beautiful face with a very familiar smile on her face. My eyes widened. I was shocked. "C-crystal?" I say.
