When I got there, I saw a shaman guy and my dad standing in the living room. "Hi Cheenou, thanks for coming." My dad says. "No problem dad, who is he?" I ask. "Oh he's our cousin, he's also a shaman." My dad says. I introduce myself to that shaman guy and we handshake. My dad told me to come sit on the chair at the front of the shaman table, so I did as I was told to do. I had no idea what was going on but I just did what my dad told me to do. I sat on the chair in front of the shaman table. The shaman did his things, putting things around me. He then told my dad something and my dad came back with a double-headed snake bracelet (In Hmong culture, the double-headed snake bracelet is supposed to protect you from dragons) and put it around my wrist. My dad then told me I was good to go. I was happy to see Crystal again but she seemed sad and she told me. "Cheenou, I think they're trying to take us apart." She says looking scared and not letting me go close to her. "What? What do you mean?" I ask not sure what she was trying to say. "Cheenou, they put something on you that I can't touch or come near you." She says. I tried to think about what happened at my dad's house and I remembered the shaman guy did some magic and put a double-headed snake bracelet on me. I finally realized what my dad was trying to do when he called me over but I was already too late. There was nothing I could do at this point to stop it. "Crystal, I'm very sorry, I didn't know about this." I say. Before she could say anything, I already woke up feeling sad. My dad knew I was already in love with Crystal so he tried to match me up with another Hmong girl that was one of his friend's daughters. I couldn't love anyone unless it was Crystal. I will only love her but my dad was yelling at me that Crystal is not a human. "Listen to me son, your girlfriend is a dragon! She isn't human. The more she stays with you, the more she's slowly draining your life and you will die! Do you not want to live with me anymore?" My dad says. "I'm sorry dad, but my heart belongs to her, other than Grandpa Va. She was the only girl who showed me love and she accepted me for who I am. She loves me and brought me food every day so I can live. She saved me when no one else could. No matter what you say, I will always love her." I say. My dad sighs and walks off. I got mad so I took off the bracelet and tried my best to take all the magic off me. One day I felt very tired so I stayed in bed and couldn't wake up. I then saw Crystal running to me in a panic and say "Cheenou! We gotta go, the shaman is trying to take you away!" She tells me as she holds my hands and runs away. As we ran, I heard the jingle noises so I turned around and saw a different shaman guy chasing us on his horse.
