really? then how curious it seems
that words escaped from your lips
were fabricated daydreams.

"i still love you."
oh, string me along with promises of love, but actions speak louder than words.
you haven't loved me in many months,
your tenderness flown south like birds.

"you seem toxic."
perhaps maybe you've led me to it.
driven mad with the promise of affection,
without any truth to it.

"i just don't feel a spark anymore."
did you ever consider why?
you no longer care because you're codependent
and your need of me passed by...
