When the door opens, Yoongi is directly faced with wide mahogany eyes that curve happily as his face gathers into a cheeky smile. The man across the threshold has soft bubblegum pink hair that falls just above his eyes, covering his dark brows, if Yoongi squints he swears the boy has freckles besprinkling his nose and eyelids, and he is skeptical that those plump pink lips have a hidden layer of lip gloss faded away over them.
The boy steps aside, "Please, come in!"
His voice is soft and kind, higher pitched than what Yoongi was expecting, however after more observation of him, and his oversized blue striped button up shirt cowering down to above his knees, which are covered by black leggings tucked into the inside of white and pink sneakers, it seems sensible. Yoongi steps through the door and catches a whiff of soft vanilla and spicy citrus, it's an odd combination to wrap his head around, however it only makes the smell more alluring. The walls are a subdued orange, as Yoongi had seen through the blur of the door, the floors are wooden, a light redwood that feels soft to walk on, there are gold accents decorating some of the shelves, with a little green teapot sitting quietly in the middle, glittering in the dim lighting provided by fairy lights. The boy happily motions to the teal couch in a humorous gesticulation, proudly showing off his work space, almost making Yoongi grin.
Namjoon doesn't follow Yoongi far, he stands next to the pink haired boy and begins speaking, "Yoongi this is Jimin, our Soul Connector."
Yoongi bows his head and tries not to hold the scowl that has been smothering his face recently.
Jimin bows politely back, his hands clasped in front of him and he smiles again, "Nice to meet you Yoongi-sshi."
Namjoon's voice comes up again, "Yoongi are you okay with explaining what you need?"
Yoongi gives a small nod, at which Namjoon returns and then smiles at Jimin, "Okay, I'll be down the hall if you need anything!"
When the door closes, Jimin's eyes float back to Yoongi and he hums before sitting across from him in a soft light pink arm chair, that seems to almost swallow the small boy.
Jimin clears his throat, "So Yoongi-sshi"
"I don't like using sshi too much." He interrupts
A small pout forms in a moment of thinking before smiling and lightly bouncing up, "Okay..." he pauses, "Hyung?"
"I'm twenty seven." Yoongi helps clear the confusion.
Jimin's lips quirk up again, "Okay Yoongi hyung, what brings you to me today?"
Yoongi wrings his hands together nervously, "Well um, I just got broken up with, after a long relationship and I thought he was my soulmate and all," Jimin hums and nods, encouraging Yoongi to continue, "I haven't been doing so well the past month since he's left me, and Namjoon said I find comfort in intimate human connection, and thinks it would be good to talk to you about outlets, or just being comfortable with moving on."
Jimin nods, "Okay, I can help you for sure," he sits up, crossing his legs and Yoongi notices his feet are bare, not professional in the least, "you said you thought he was your soulmate?"
Yoongi embarrassingly shakes his head, "yes".
Jimin bites his lip in a quizzical manner, "Why?"
Yoongi furrows his brows, "Well, I've known him since I was in middle school, and we started dating in high school, I finally asked him out when we graduated," Yoongi starts recalling several memories, of both of them moving into one shared dorm, of them getting lost on their way around campus, of the parties and late nights they spent studying, "we were together for so long, I thought things were healthy, communication was good, we always shared the same interests, sex was great-"
